Interesting. Never heard of it, so I looked up a video. Theoretically it seems like a good idea. I wonder how long the zipper would last.
@Nancy Hart It appears to be very well made and I think it depends on how much you change the bottom sheet. I am hoping for 30 years.
Not fussy at all. As long as most of the stuff on top covers most of the bed, I'm fine. When Kmart went out of business here they had a sale on sheets and I bought 3 sets, all different material, to compare. One was 600 thread count Egyptian cotton. At first I didn't like those because they were super thick, stiff, and always came out of the dryer wrinkled. But I like them best now. Even if the bottom sheet isn't pulled tight it doesn't follow you around, like the thinner ones do.
Not fussy, at all, as long as everything is 100% polyester. With cotton sheets and blankets, I wake up soaking wet. I make my bed every morning, but that's it.
While in Basic Training in the Army in 1960, the Drill Sergeant showed us how to make a bed so tight that a coin would bounce from it. I showed him...I bounced a hand grenade from mine! Private Harold Pollner US 56332718
