I can relate. In the military, we wore olive drab. It was green. My wife gave me a sleep and walk tracker and called it persimmon. It's orange. The amber caution light is yellow and the azure sky is still blue in my book.
Makes sense. According to tradition, guys aren't supposed to wear pink lest they should be deemed effeminate. Coral, on the other hand is quite alright. Still, a rose by any other name.....................................
I suppose it could be said that men are less discriminatory than women. While acknowledging obvious differences, we don't look for things to set one thing apart from another.
Perfect example: Drapes and curtains. Windows are windows and a set color should be sufficient but one has to have mauve, another is puce and God forbid that at least one isn't periwinkle with lace. All the windows should look alike...........dirty.
@Nancy Smith I completed this item. I'd be too embarrassed to post a picture. I'm on to another project.
