Transgender awareness -- hahaha! What is there to be aware about?

    Here is my awareness.

A male getting his testicles removed was once done so males would be disabled from breeding the females and would live as a woman but had the strength of a male to do work as a slave or servant. In some American Indian tribes these "transgenders" were used for sex by the males in times of the women being unwilling or unable.

The Bible speaks of males, relieved of their testicles. They were called Eunuchs and were servants or slaves. One role of the Eunuch was to oversee the Kings harem since the King felt he could trust these guys not to get involved sexually. Apparently lesbianism wasn't a big threat in those days, so the King felt no worries about trans girl (the Eunuchs) on bio girl hanky panky. Who knows, maybe that was part of the Eunuch's job to keep the harem happy and prevent bio girl on bio girl sexual encounters which was against the Kings law at that time.

That is my awareness this week, once a week free of any holidays or celebrations, now tainted with being aware of something best kept private.

With Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, fall is a busy holiday season. If one celebrates the Jewish holidays, then it gets busier. If that isn't exhausting enough, let's add in the awareness days, weeks, and months.

I sense an opportunity to see how "woke" all those "woke" businesses are.

"We get double-time for working Transgender Awareness Month, right???"

I'd do that with all of the "alternative awareness" days.

I've actually subscribed to this guy's podcast; the one that I linked to in my last post. The host, the guy with the mustache and beard, was born a woman and transitioned thirty years ago. Of course, I still think that his stuff is insane, but that doesn't mean that I have to hate everything about him. I've only watched a couple of his podcasts, and he (and his guests) have much to say that is worth listening to, especially when it comes to understanding some of the craziness that the world has been immersed in recently. Please keep in mind that understanding is not the same thing as agreeing with. In one sense, it could be inaccurate to say that you disagree with something that you've never taken the time to listen to. The host, it seems, does not regret his transitioning into a man and is not opposed to some of the craziness that's going on. Still, he does view what is being done with kids today, in the schools, libraries, and elsewhere, as grooming them, and is not in favor of transition surgeries or hormones for children.
