Ya know, it is a Fact that a person can burn sufficiently more calories by getting up and doing just 10-15 minutes of cardio before they’ve even poured their first cup of coffee in the morning. Alas, as much as I may know that, in the past few years of heavy exercise I still haven’t managed to put that early morning activity into practice.
I used to ride my bike to work, about 12 miles each way. I got good at backpacking a suit & tie. And I got my exercise in without any schedule sacrifice. Sometimes I would bike to play racquetball in the morning, play for an hour, bike the rest of the way to work, then bike home in the afternoon. Those days are in my rear view mirror. I still have my bike, though.
