Something I saw very shortly in Obama's campaign speeches, was that he could speak for an hour or more and say absolutely nothing. Harris hasn't reached that level of perfection yet, but then I don't think she has the rhythm and speaking style that Obama has, and Obama was saved somewhat by the fact that he looks Black, while Harris really doesn't. Obama also didn't have the MAGA supporters watching closely what he said. The media always drooled over Obama' speeches, and spoke of what a great speaker he was. They never focused on the content of the speeches, which was nil. I was always convinced that Obama studied Hitler, Churchill, FDR, and others in order to get the rhythm and the pauses down.

How true, how true. Just keep in mind how long the corporate media tried to tell the public Biden wasn't senile and that it was just right-wing conspiracy until the debate with Trump. Then they had to start telling the truth...even though they tried to still downplay it.
It just makes sense to me that if a lot of the Haitians believe in voo-doo and have practiced it for centuries, that if they used chickens and cats in their voo-doo rituals in Haiti, that they would keep on doing those same rituals regardless of where they live. This is a religious rite for them in their way of life, and (to them) drinking chicken or cat blood might be about the same as Christians drinking wine and wafers used for our religious sacraments.
Martha Stewart has finally revealed who she will be voting for in this November's presidential election. Speaking during the 2024 Retail Influencer CEO Forum earlier this week, the TV star said she would be voting for Kamala Harris. Stewart, 83, gave her reasoning as to why she is supporting Harris because she wants a president 'who doesn't hate New York' and 'doesn't hate democracy.' Link

Actually it was ducks and cats. Trump misheard the news. A 911 call reported 4 migrants grabbing ducks at the city park and taking them into their car. The woman who was eating the cat was not a migrant, just nuts.

The Teamsters have announced they will not endorse a presidential candidate this cycle. That must be a big disappointment for Democrats. They released internal polling data that showed the majority of members support Trump. They haven't endorsed a Republican since 1988. The article (on Fox News) says that in a phone survey the members supported Trump over Harris 58% to 31%.
