As reports are leaked that Harris' poll numbers are crashing, she is now said to be turning radically to the left and trying to activate the Democrat "base" by now campaigning on removing the filibuster in the Senate so she can push through Federal legislation on abortion. She is also copying every policy that Trump puts out as she has none of her own, or at least none that she can say out load. Soon there will advocacy for total and limitless amnesty for illegals, allowing them to vote, and free stuff for everybody who will vote for her.

    This is interesting (I think):

Kamala Harris has pledged that a Harris administration would remove unnecessary degree requirements for federal jobs, opening up avenues for workers without four-year degrees for careers in the government. And to encourage the private sector to do the same.

The pledge shares a goal with recent legislation proposed by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, which would remove education requirements from civil service jobs except where the Office of Personnel Management deems necessary.

Well aptitude and experience were already ruled out in favor of degrees (in anything) to qualify for many public service jobs. If we drop education as well then these jobs can be even more strictly reserved for nepotism and political patronage than they are today.

And we will have a more diverse government. Many like Bernie Sanders and the Clintons pushed "college for all" then came the student debt crisis, and now it would make all those degrees even less important. Having all that debt and the jobs you thought you would get could now go to those who couldn't make it through high school or those who entered the country "undocumented".

I watched Frontline's "The Choice: Harris Vs Trump" last night on KPBS which (for me) indicated how dangerous a second Trump presidency would be.

PBS is another leftist organization. They never broadcast anything but "anti-Trump" propaganda.

It also gets some of its funding from the government.

By definition, it isn’t a Secret conspired by 2 or more people ergo it doesn’t fit in the conspiracy threads.

To be sure, I have lived and worked among the Haitians when I was in the Bahamas and South Florida and as a general run, they are an extremely superstitious and backward people.

Five Haitian families lived in the house next to mine in Florida and rather than having the water turned on, they did their “business” in my hedges and didn’t even attempt to hide it nor bury it for sanitation purposes.
As far as my own “other” experiences with the Haitians go, when news came out that they might be eating cats and dogs and geese or whatever, I wasn’t surprised at all.

    As a side:
Even throughout the U.S., people eat squirrels and rabbits so to someone unfamiliar with our customs, what would be different about the two aforementioned animals and a cat? or a dog?

Rather short today are we not?

It was my experience that one could rarely find a dog or a cat in S. Vietnamese villages….for a reason. They’re edible.
Many cultures eat them including monkeys, cockroaches, rats, snakes and eels so what is so hard to believe that a centuries old culture coming to the United States would not automatically assume they are just as edible as they were in their own country?

Koreans also eat dogs during hard times and I believe the Chinese do in the rural villages. When I lived in japan, I was told that if I ever had a pet cat to keep it indoors at all times. The Japanese don't eat the cats, but they us kill them for their skins, as some musical instruments use cat skin in the construction. As far as I know, it was true as I never saw a stray cat during the two years I lived there.

Precisely what I am talking about..
Heck, when I was working at the Mission in Flagstaff, Arizona, the cooks prepared squirrel stew for lunch one day. Their liscencing allowed them to take nearly any kind of food donation be it canned or road kill.
Note: After the food was donated, it was up to the mission to insure that it was handled properly.

For Kamala or anyone else for that matter to say that the imported Haitians won’t eat at least stray animals has never been around a lot of Haitians for any length of time.
They may not be yanking pets out of people’s yards but I wouldn’t bet against them grabbing a pet or stray whilst it was loose and walking around the neighborhood.
