    George Carlinā€¦

Have you ever noticed that they put advertisements in with your bills now? Like

bills aren't distasteful enough, they have to stuff junk mail in there with them. I

get back at them. I put garbage in with my check when I mail it in. Coffee grinds,

banana peels... I write, "Could you throw this away for me? Thank you."

Two elderly women were eating breakfast in a restaurant one morning. Ethel noticed something funny about Mabel's ear and she said, "Mabel, did you know you've got a suppository in your left ear?"

Mabel answered, "I have? suppository?" She pulled it out and stared at it.

Then she said, "Ethel, I'm glad you saw this thing. Now I think I know where my hearing aid is.

This is actually from @Martin Alonzo -- I just helped him retrieve the photos from email.

    One Hungry Little Mouse

    leopard1.jpg
This extraordinary scene was captured by photography student Casey Guttering at the Santiago Rare Leopard Project. The student, who was photographing the leopard for a course project, was astounded by the mouse's behavior.

He said, "I have no idea where the mouse came from -- he just appeared in the enclosure after the keeper had dropped in the meat for the leopard. He didn't take any notice of the leopard, but just went straight over to the meat and started feeding himself."

"But the leopard was surprised -- she bent down and sniffed the mouse and flinched a bit, like she was scared. In the meantime, the mouse just carried on eating like nothing had happened."

    leopard2.jpg
"Even a gentle shove does not deter the creature from getting his fill... It was amazing; even the keeper who had thrown the meat into the enclosure was shocked -- he said he'd ever seen anything like it before."

Project owner Jackie James added, "It was funny to see -- Sheena battled the mouse a couple of times to try to get it away from her food. But the determined thing took no notice and just carried on."

Sheena was brought in to the Santiago Rare Leopard Project from a UK zoo when she was just four months old. The African Leopard can be found in the continent's forests, grasslands, savannas, and rainforests.

So the mouse continued to eat the leopard's lunch and show the leopard who was the boss. Just proves no one can push you around without your permission.

    Also, from @Martin Alonzo .

This is a beautiful lesson in life and longevity. Be nice to others because...

    Time Will Make a Difference!

One day, you may no longer be the big dog, just the old dog. And, my friends, we are now the old dogs.

Thank you @Martin Alonzo , and @Ken Anderson , Those were great pictures, and they carried wonderful messages. I've heard of the strength of a mustard seed, and now I see the courage of a mouse. I'm hope I appropriate both.
