    Yes. Liberal people, Israeli and around the world, don't like him at all.

    @Bess Barber
    I've listened to a number of Netanyahu's speeches, made to a variety of different-framed audiences, including our own leaders, and he always sounded forthright and upstanding, unlike the mealy-mouthed utterances of our recent leaders, some of which have been so bad as to incite retching (almost).

    Differences in beliefs and opinions are little things, @Lulu Moppet .
    Who cares if I like ketchup and you don’t , or if we see things differently in the news reports ? I love my country, and I totally believe that you love it, too, and that is way more important than political viewpoints.
    (Just as aside..... I personally think that we ALL are being led down the “primrose path” , no matter which news we listen to or watch. Just another way to divide people up, who could be helping each other instead of hating each other. )

    His wording is borrowed from the Yiddish inflection, I think, saying "purchased" while meaning "obtained" or "grasped". Some might think he meant it may be "bought".......I'm sure he did not.

    Just splitting hairs......... :oops:

    The push from some parts of government/media are toward socialism and most of the public have no idea what it is about. The yelling and screaming everyone needs to pay their share. Take the money from the rich and give it to the people who do not want to work. Everyone is jealous of people who made their own fortune and some could be justified when the parents handed down large amounts of money to their children.
    The leaders of socialism/communism governments are millionaires/billionaires. Castro 900 million dollars, Hugo Chavez's daughter is Venezuela's richest woman Maria Gabriela Chavez, 35, has $4.2billion. Chinese official kept 13.5 tons of gold in his basement

    Beijing home of Xu Caihou, one of China's highest-ranking army generals. So instead of having these self-made billionaires we have government billionaires. The idea of socialism was everyone should be even but that is not reality. The difference between capitalism and socialism is who is capable of being billionaire. The followers of socialism are poor/very poor and no hope of change.
    For example if you were a Falun Gong practitioner you duty for the public good have your organs removed probably without anesthesia. This is just because you are healthier than others. Government makes lots of money selling organs.

    I would be against it even if it worked for the sole purpose our constitution wasn't based on that political structure.
    @Martin Alonzo It was a very informative post. I didn't know all of that.

    Democratic Socialist is an oxymoron. Make no mistake, regardless of how good it sound, embrace Socialism and you become a slave. Study the Communist Manifesto. Sounds great until you try it. Study the past Soviet Socialist Republic government and decide just how marvelous Socialism is.
