Tonight (Thursday) we are out of town to Sudbury for my wife's medical appointment..... For supper it will be the other half of that BBQ chicken I bought on Tuesday.. Steamed broccoli.. Or maybe steamed cauliflower...
supper was fish... fillets of salmon lightly breaded and pan fried.. coleslaw.. Frozen blueberries with heavy cream..
Saturday..... Time for a slow cooker meal... I'm thinking of sweet and sour meatballs, or, chicken drums in a BBQ sauce... Not sure which one to do.. Yesterday I bought some chicken drums on special.. They were 9 drums to a package for only $5.00 a package.. I bought 5 packages.. Perhaps chicken drums is what I will do, and obviously I will freeze the rest in freezer bags, with 4 or 5 per bag.. They are large drums, not pigeon size.. For the veggie, steamed sliced carrots, mashed with some frozen (boiled) peas added.. A pudding of some sort that I will spike.. Pot of tea..... Breakfast will be some porridge for a change...
Sunday supper ended up being chicken thighs bone and skin on.. I took off the skin and as much fat as I could.. Dry marinated them and put them on the BBQ.. coleslaw stewed peaches with heavy cream.. pot of tea
Monday was a vegetable casserole with tuna in it.. I love those one dish meals.... Frozen blueberries with splenda and heavy cream..... Pot of tea...
Tonight for supper was my chicken burgers, frozen, and on the BBQ.. I also added each a banger as well.. A salad with my dressing.. Pot of tea.....

That is some food you have been packing away Steve. Carbohydrates. Yes. Well after I was diagnosed borderline diabetic 18 months ago it shocked me into an immediate health kick. From my diet went white sugar, hi saturated fats and carbs. If not mistaken most carbs are good carbs but they sure do pile on the kilos which is not all that good as obesity is Diabetes best friend..
Craig..... Please go to the "Game Chat" thread in the games and see what I posted concerning carbs.. Also, note the weight I have lost being on low carb.. About 150 pounds.. I am now in maintenance which means I have reached my goal, and all I want to do is maintain it.. There's the BIG 5 foods that must be eliminated which are not good for low carb.. With those out of your life, you will lose weight and eat very healthy..
By the way Craig... When I say I bread something, I use wheat gluten flour which is low carb.. I also use almond flour to make my pancakes.. S/F syrup on them.. When I dry marinate my chicken, I use herbs and spices and NO flour..
Tonight for supper I made chicken thighs with the bone in on the BBQ.. I dry marinated them first.. A salad with my own dressing.. S/F jello with heavy cream.. Pot of tea...
