worked outside today putting away the summer tractor and lawnmower as well as other items for winter..
I came in and was totally pooped, but supper still had to be made with nothing out..
I took out of the freezer a couple of chicken burgers I had previously made.. Put them on the BBQ frozen..
OK.... Now for a veggie... I had some coleslaw which filled in the gap...
I had my burger on a tortilla wrap with some hot peppers and ketchup..
Stewed peaches with heavy cream for dessert..
A pot of tea was definitely needed to wash down what I called a last minute meal..
I must say this wasn't the most interesting meal at all...……... Survival food !!!!

BBQ again tonight... This time it was B/S chicken thighs..
I have lots of turnip from our garden and they are white and not yellow inside.. Rather on the sweeter side as well.. I cube one, steam it and mash it with butter.. They are a different taste to the store bought ones that have wax on them..
    Frozen fruit with heavy cream
    Pot of tea...

Large kale and veggie salad, part of a protein bar (low carb) for dessert.

    My HOK....
I took a B/S chicken breast, cut in half in the thickness, pounded them just a bit, breaded them lightly, and pan fried them..
Steamed carrots from our garden mashed with butter and fresh parsley..
Stewed peaches with heavy cream and Splenda..
    Pot of tea...

Breakfast was different:... I made my wife a bowl of porridge while I had an omelette.. Usually we have the same thing, but not today.. she is fed-up with eggs in the morning, so I made her porridge with Splenda brown sugar and cream..

Today I am going to make a …. soup.... in the slow cooker..
A vegetable soup.. I will add just a bit of pearl barley to the soup..
Now, that soup will last us for several meals after I freeze some..

My dearest beloved has asked for some soup again for supper tonight...
Well, I guess we are having soup tonight for supper..
I don't like to serve the same thing two nights in a row, but I guess soup could be the exception..

I made a vegetable casserole with a shortage of veggies, as I have to go food shopping tomorrow, but I used what I had and I added a can of tuna just to make it a bit more interesting..
Somehow, we must of been hungry because we ate almost everything... Maybe it wasn't all that bad after all..
