Sunday...……… Again no idea about supper..... HOK.... I was thinking of some chicken, but not sure about that.. Breakfast will be my flapjacks served with S/F syrup... I use wheat gluten as the flour which is low carb.. Often I will also use almond flour..
I took out of the freezer a package of 5 drumsticks.. I will dry bread them and grill them on the BBQ.. I have a Caesar salad kit that I bought the other day that will go very well with the chicken.. I will be making a A/f pudding that I will spike with something.. Serve it with heavy cream.. Pot of tea after for sure..
B/S chicken breast cooked in a vegetable stock that I spiked and served with parsley on top.. Steamed cauliflower.. Frozen blueberries with heavy cream Pot of tea..
Please don't ask me why, but my dear wife told me after supper that it was one of the best meals she has had in a while.. Either she was very hungry or it was really that good.. It was one of the simplest and fastest meals of all.. Just cut the breast in half in the thickness, add a bit of spiked stock to the fry pan to cook it in, and that's all.. I sprinkled some dry parsley flakes on top to make it look good and to add a bit of flavour.. Even the steamed cauliflower was done with a bit of a crisp, which she devoured..
supper tonight was a meatloaf made in the muffin tin so we can have mini loaves.. Steamed broccoli S/F white chocolate pudding served with heavy cream.. pot of tea...…….
Yea ! We are eating turkey ! I love turkey ! It is thanksgiving here, so we will have turkey, butternut squash, and stuffing. Leftovers for the nes=store few days.
Not Thanksgiving here... We had ours in October.. Today we are off to Sudbury for the day.. Most likely I will go to Walmart and get a BBQ chicken and a Caesar salad kit.. That will be our supper today and most likely for tomorrow as well..
We didn't go to Sudbury as it is black Friday and we were scared the shops would be crowded.. Next week might be better... . supper tonight was chicken drums on the BBQ Steamed cauliflower..
today Saturday I made my homemade pizzas using tortilla wraps as the base, pizza sauce, sliced mushrooms, diced red pepper, and mozzarella cheese...
Sunday… salmon lightly breaded and pan fried.. Couscous made with stock.. Steamed carrots and parsnips smashed with butter and chives.. S/F chocolate pudding spiked and served with heavy cream.. Pot of tea....
My dear wife is asking me to make some homemade soup again.. It must be good as she loves it.. OK.... Today I will make a soup in the slow cooker with just some veggies.. Onions, can of diced tomatoes, cubed carrots that I will steam first along with some parsnip, broccoli stem, cauliflower stem, and some frozen peas towards the end...… I just don't have any celery which I would add.. Herbs and spices of course.. Stock added to make more liquid.. I will also add a bit of barley...
NO.... I didn't make a soup.... somehow it just didn't happen, but tomorrow I will try to make a soup.. What I did was I had just bought some B/S chicken thighs that were on special on Monday when we went food shopping.... I kept out 4 thighs and froze the rest with 4 in a freezer bag.. Ended up with 11 bags in the freezer.. I cooked tonight's in a liquid of stock and Worchester sauce.. Steamed cauliflower Frozen blueberries with heavy cream.. Pot of tea....
