To the one that yelled at me with big print and called my opinion and take on current events ... IGORNANT SHIT ...I am putting you on ignore. I consider this a verbal assault just like if you screamed in my face in person. Let's call my ignore a forum restraining order. I have reported your angry out of control post and I leave it to the authorities to take appropriate action. You seem to have anger issues against conservatives, especially women that you find powerless to ban you.
Renfro’s been given 2 or 3 “vacations’ and it doesn’t seem to bother him a bit. He was on vacation during the Christmas season and Yvonne asked Ken to allow Pete to come back (in the spirit of Christmas) and when he did a few days ago the first person he lit into was her. Oh yeah, you don’t have to use the ignore button when the “report” button is sometimes more effective. Ken has a lot of things going and sometimes doesn’t get to the admin dashboard every day but he’ll see it in due time. It’s often hard to follow a conversation if the ignore button is used and in the case of outrageous personal attacks like Renfro is known for, the report button is probably your best bet.
LOL. I try to be a tad more diplomatic most of the time when there are disagreements but alas, some folks simply do not appreciate diplomacy.
I've had Bobby on "ignore" before, but have clicked on "show content" anyway..........why? Because I'm still interested in what he says!
More fake news, admitted soon after: Update [Jan. 12, 2021]: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that the word “Trump” had been “carved” into the manatees back, resulting in “serious scarring.” Emotional plea to seek and win damages in a lawsuit(s), or to unjustly prefer charges to get a lawsuit(s): “It’s heartbreaking that this manatee was subjected to this vile, criminal act,” said Lopez in the news release. “It’s clear that whoever harmed this defenseless, gentle giant is capable of doing grave violence and needs to be apprehended immediately.” Actual law, misapplied by lawyers seeking money/lawsuits/ power: "Due to their threatened status, these vegetarians are protected under the U.S. Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, the U.S. Endangered Species Act of 1973, and the Florida Manatee Sanctuary Act of 1978. It is illegal to interfere with manatees under Florida state and federal laws, including harassing, harming, wounding, or annoying the sea cows. And those convicted of violating federal-protection laws could face fines up to $100,000 and up to one year in jail, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC)." The profitmongers try to cover their b---s: "The Center for Biological Diversity released an edited statement by the following day that replaced the word “carved” with “written” and excluded any mention of “serious scarring.” In a follow-up email to Snopes, the organization said that it had written its original news release based on “incorrect published reporting” and the update was based on new information from wildlife experts. "" Others complicit in the false news, (exagerated unjustly, for hope for a lawsuit(s) ) ""In mid-January 2021, Florida wildlife officials announced that they were investigating the illegal harassment of a threatened Florida manatee after it was discovered that the word “Trump” was etched into the mammal’s back. The incident was first reported by the Citrus County Chronicle, a newspaper in Crystal River, Florida, on Jan. 11, 2021. That report said that someone had “scraped” the U.S. president’s name into the mammal’s back. That same day, the Center for Biological Diversity published a news release that claimed the word was “carved” into its back and that the animal suffered “serious scarring"" No harm, no foul... no injuries... just pending lawsuits (a lot unrelated to the manatee-- ) "The name "Trump" was etched into the algae on the back of a manatee. Wildlife officials have reportedly confirmed that the animal did not experience any serious injuries." (i.e. no injuries) Why all the fuss? >> more lawyers, more profitmongers, more trouble... "The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) portrays itself as a pro-science, non-profit organization that simply wants to protect endangered species. In reality, it's largely a group of lawsuit-happy lawyers. CBD's website lists about 170 staff members, with more than 50 having "attorney" or "counsel" in their job titles.* So, that's a law firm, not a scientific organization. The page even brags about how awesome CBD is at winning lawsuits: Based on our unparalleled record of legal successes — 83 percent of our lawsuits result in favorable outcomes — we've developed a unique negotiating position with both government agencies and private corporations, enabling us, at times, to secure broad protections for species and habitat without the threat of litigation. [Emphasis added] In other words, since everybody knows that CBD wins lawsuits, they don't even have to threaten you with one to win. That's like saying that the Godfather has such a well-known negotiation strategy that he doesn't even have to put a dead horse's head in your bed to get what he wants."
The fuss is that it is illegal to harass an endangered animal. The original release may have been exaggerated, but the crime is the same.
Calling it a "crime" is like calling it a "crime" when a teacher hugs a student in the middle of class, like they used to do harmlessly and helpfully for all. The political use of "abuse" and "harass" has replaced normal healthy and natural thinking, and is used to wickedly abuse both an individuals power to cause harm to others who are harmless, and to wickedly increase the big brother government power as is widely accomplished (especially the last year). At about 8:33am this morning, a police officer in uniform on fox23 admitted that they (the police) had to be "careful" not to arrest someone for wearing a mask - that would be an unconstitutional arrest. So the politicians had to find another way - they have to get the owner of the property to sign a complaint of trespass in order to arrest someone, so the police are able that way to avoid the expensive liability of lawsuits for unconstitutional laws/ arrests.
Bullshit!!!!! If you look in any states game and fish handbook, you will see that "Harassing" wildlife is a crime. Harassing wildlife is any act except leaving it the hell alone. Every year in NY there are a few activists arrested on the charge of harassing game, for driving the bush hoping to scare deer away from hunters. https://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/1125...disturbing, flushing, or chasing,877-457-5680).
mymy, tempertemper.... you just proved my point, thank you. Using a misdirected definition , using hot tempered ill mannered ner-do-well attitude to try to accuse someone of a 'heinous'? or at least 'bad' crime that was harmless activity, while you continue to bring a rash uninformed violence into play... harming the local people by just being around them.
And the innocent ones seeking to protect, you blame !? Charge with crimes ? Protecting instead those who seek to kill !?!? That seems totally to invalidate any opinion you posted.
I expressed no temper. Tough if you object to my words, don't really care. You are not the arbitrator of a crime. The states by way of our duly elected officials define what a crime is. Scraping the algae of a Manatees back fits the crime of harassment to a tee. It is not some "harmless entertainment" Please convince me that messing with any animal for infantile pleasure is not a sign of a broken mind!
