Thanks Babs, was getting tired of fixing each photo! Walking down Memory Lane can get tiring, at least emotionally. I just took a pic of the pic but should get that app @Yvonne Smith recommended.
I like seeing the pictures of when you and others were children, etc. I don't really have many of those because we did not have a camera when I was real young and we lived far from family members who did have cameras. So only when relatives came to visit and brought their camera or we attended a family event where pictures were taken did I get my picture taken. And when I started school there were the school pictures but I don't have many of those either. I guess that's why I love to take so many pictures of my family, etc. I want to make sure they have plenty of them at all ages.
I only have a very few and they've all turned pink or faded. My mom split most of the photos up so my brother may have some of me with him. I have a few at my daughter's house...the ones that are in that crumbling old photo album. Also...my hair was always permed it seems because naturally it was straight as a board. Also, my legs are actually skinnier now then they were when I was little, lol.
All of my childhood stuff was lost when my dad's house burned to the ground while I was in college. I had a report card from 3rd grade, I think it was, where the teacher had written, "Reads too much."
Also...not lying about my legs...my ankles are definitely thinner now. This was taken a couple years ago but they're the same.
My daughter at age 5 and her brother at a few months...it's in a frame in my bedroom. The color is off and the pic is sideways I bet. In the thumbnail it shows sideways for me but when I do full image it's the right way on my iPad. Grrrr
Thanks, Babs...but what's more important is that they are beautiful on the inside! Couldn't have asked for better kids than my son and daughter. It is what I'm most grateful for in all that's happened to me in 66 years...of course the children that they had are just as beautiful...I hope that long after I'm gone, it continues with their children's children.
It's the same for me Chrissy. My children and grandchildren are my blessings and I hope the blessings continue long after I leave my earthly home.
