That shipping quality needs more training. I have a 7 qt one that is known for its near-boiling temps. I use it for buffets and dinners where I want something that heats things up that quickly. It got so hot that I made some mulled cider for a gathering (I was gonna transfer it to a serving container) and a friend actually scalded her wrist when she stirred the cider and some spilled on her. That ain't no slow-cooker.
I ordered two of these 4'x2'x1' galvanized raised gardens. They were on sale on Amazon and I had some rewards $$, so I only paid $20 for two of them. I want some small, manageable plots for a few tomato plants and maybe cucumbers on a trellis this spring.
I have two rotted out galvanized tanks that I will use for raised gardens next year that look like that. But, They are about 20 times that size, probably. I was going to fill the bottoms with rotted wood to save on dirt. Imagine. Thinking of how to save dirt.
Yeah, these are only a foot tall and are bottomless. I think they will be a manageable size for me. Those galvanized water tanks are quite trendy these days.
They are good @Beth Gallagher I love my raised veggie beds and one thing I’ve noticed cause we live in a dry area I h don’t have to water the veggies as often due to my gardening areas being between fruit trees and of course when I watered the veggies in the past the fruit trees gobbled up some of the water as well, so I’d have to water more often Filling the garden beds was expensive, some put a couple of bales of hay in the bottom then cover with garden soil suitable for veggies ( we have to buy any extra soil cause our soil is horrible lime stone )
We even have a watering system we can turn on and off with our phone if we are not home to attend to the veggie patch . I forget what it’s called but it only cost us $79 to buy 2 seperate systems one for the veggie patch around one side of the house and one for the other side in the photo I posted yesterday
Remembered what the auto watering system is called This is what it looks like ( a simple tap timer) that can be used on manual when home , and operated from our phones when not home https://www.holmanindustries.com.au/product/wx1-tap-timer/
My last online order was a pair of slippers, some Philosophy body lotion, and a box of chocolate covered cherries for my sister's birthday. I love that I can order online and have stuff shipped directly to her in GA.
Amazon needs to put Yvonne on a commission program. I bought these items based on her recommendation & experiences: A book on fiber & gut health Teeccino Herbal Coffee Sampler CHICORAYA Instant Chicory Coffee I have some chicory I had been putting in my brewed coffee. I may steep some of it with this. ( I eat leaf chicory in the form of radicchio with my salads every night.) I bought this one all on my own: Gold Panning Kit with Mini Aluminum Sluice I have creeks running through my property I've been hunting arrowheads in, and I'm told that there's a significant amount of gold in the county (we have a town called Mineral, a road called Goldmine, etc), so I figured I could do both at once. I told a friend (the pro-forma county historian) I was gonna order this, and we have a mutual acquaintance whose family property backs on a creek where a legacy gold mine used to be. He's gonna get us permission to pan there.
I was at the end of my right-of-way checking my mail the other day, and the UPS guy drove by, honking his horn and waving at me. I think it's time to cut back.
John, our UPS guy has been honking and waving at @Bobby Cole every day when they go by, whether he is going to stop or not, for the last several years. Bobby is usually out on the porch smoking, so he is there to wave back at the the UPS guy.
