I ordered CR2032, CR2016 and AA batteries, GLAD Press n Seal wrap, and hair products from Amazon yesterday. Expecting everything this week.
There was a one day delay in getting my jump charger. It came with about a 75% charge I charged it on for about a half hour to give it a little additional charge. When I went to start my car the first thing I did was try it without the charger it was completely dead. I hooked up the charger as directed in their booklet, the car turned over like it was a new battery and started right away. I was very satisfied. I got this unit from Walmart the original price was listed as $179, it was on clearance I got it for $62 and change. It's got USB Outlets so you can charge your phone with it if you happen to be in an area where you don't have power. So far I feel like I got my money's worth.
I bought a couple of "Halo Bolt" jump start things; they also have USB and a 110v outlet. I used one to jump start my car after it sat in the garage for several months and it worked like a charm. We also use them when the power goes out to keep lamps on. They make one model that has a small air compressor for low tires.
Packages still being delayed. Did get the dog food today. The small heater along with some household items, now will be delivered 17th... dependent on the weather= sigh
Recent weather has been a problem for delivery services. I got a delivery from FedEx today which was delayed, The driver said he normally has about 200 packages to deliver, today truck had over 300 packages. Another piece of info that was on my RING System, they had a video of someone dressed as a Amazon driver following the FedEx truck and stealing package after they were dropped off.
Yesterday we ordered from amazon Coat/ Umbrella stand covers for the central AC Compresses Table protection pads
A Breville Custom Loaf bread machine. I've been obsessing between the Breville and the Zojirushi and finally made up my mind. (The Zo is usually the highest rated machine but it only makes 2 lb loaves and isn't as snazzy looking IMO. )
I bought myself a sun protection shirt for wearing when I'm working outside. I think they're a good idea.
Ordered some diastatic malt powder to replace an order I just cancelled. It is WAY more than I will ever use before it goes bad, but the cost for 1.5# of this is less than the cost of 4 oz. of the King Arthur...and I've been using this for brand a long time, so I trust it. Also ordered a Rose Book of Bible Charts, Maps, and Time Lines. It was highly recommended by someone on another forum.
My Breville bread machine is "out for delivery." I also ordered a Bissell electric "SpinWave" mop. It has good reviews and I hope will make it easier for me to clean the wood floors and tile.
From Boot Barn, we ordered my wife a nice new western blouse and for me, a nice Ariat (western boot brand) long sleeve shirt. It's Royal Blue, with Ariat written in big white letters on one sleeve and on the collar. Already have a Wrangler shirt, with Wrangler written on sleeve and back.
