I got the frother and cups and finally opened the box today. I was annoyed to find that the frother was USED and NASTY. So now I have to drive to UPS to return that thing. I'm cranky so I'm not ordering a replacement.
Put an order into HSN for a Cordless Stick Vac, made by a company YTE. It got good reviews, and had a very reasonable price at $79.99. HSN return policy, giving one month to try it is perfect.
Remember me ordering from Walmart couple of weeks ago and not getting some toothpaste I ordered? After much him hawing around the company refunded my money. Today I get package in mail thinking it was from Amazon that i ordered on Sunday the 28th. Until i get Amazon notice today that it will be delivered by 8 pm tomorrow . Um Walmart's was shipped from mfg, but Amazon mails from their own warehouse- go figure. Anyways seems the vendor sent me the tooth paste and gave refund, as my Amazon one will be her tomorrow.
How Does Hard Water Impact Goat Milk Soap? The answer is "The same as any other soap." Here are the 4 points from the article in Goat Milk Stuff: 1. The use of hard water produces soap scum. 2. Soap scum blocks soap from reaching what it needs to clean. 3. Hard water requires you to use more soap. 4. Hard water also interferes with the soap's ability to lather. The rest of the article discusses how to manage hard water.
Seeds, garden stuff, Aerogarden seed starter tray, and another indoor TV antenna like this... The last Comcast outage we were without cable TV. We have one of these antennas on an upstairs TV so that was the only one we could watch during the outage. (There are a surprising number of over-the-air channels available in the Houston area.) Since they are relatively cheap we bought another one for the downstairs TV. Hopefully this will insure that Comcast never has another service outage.
I have a roof antenna and pick up over 50 stations from Charlottesville (25 miles), Richmond, (40 miles), and Harrisonburg (60 miles.) There is overlap, but when I had Dish, I realized I was watching the same few channels and it was costing me $65/month. I do miss the 7x24 farm channel (RFDtv.)
I purchased a used Denon AV Amplifier on Feb. 10 from Ebay. It should be delivered this week. It doesn't have the remote, which I'll look for once I check out the amp to make sure it's working.
Because of my obsession to make variety tapes many years ago I purchated a Mitsubishi cassette deck, it had amazing functions. There was one stand alone deck that was for play or record, and a slide out tray that held 7 cassettes for play back only. The good part was you could program the cassette in the tray to play any cassette and any track. It made making a mix tape easy. It also had high speed recording, play back of all 8 (7 + 1) cassettes. I got a lot of use out of it.
Placed an Amazon order: -Prebiotic powders, a new probiotic, some supplements -iPhone lightening port cleaner kit -Battery maintainer for my Mazda (the one I put in my truck is working well) Edit to add: and a bag of Teeccino Dandelion Coconut
Online shopping planned but tried to find locally. Got a bonus of finding 2 - 1Litre Handwash for refills. It contains Dead Sea Salts and Vanilla Almond Oil. It smells amazing. Now, I had three items to replace as they were broken, nonworking anymore. Online it would have been expensive. Saved money and luckily found all three items on our list cutting costs by half. Yippee! So, we've got new dual seasons (hot/cold) heater/fan. A new wand blender with turbo and 12 settings in stainless steel. Finally, a new compact rice cooker 1 to 4 portions 1.5L. Grabbed lunch downtown. Now home enjoying a tall glass of cold pressed coconut milk. Awwww...
