If I go alone, I usually go directly to what I'm looking for, pay for it, and leave. However, when I go shopping with my wife, she goes down every aisle, many of them twice, once for each side of the aisle, so I end up picking a whole lot of stuff that I hadn't considered needing.
It is a “man-thing”, @Ken Anderson , and you can’t help it. Bobby is the same way, and probably just about every other man on this earth. Men totally get the idea of, “I need XXX, and I am going to the store to buy it, and then coming back home to use it”. What they can’t comprehend is the concept of “shopping “, which is totally different, and maybe only understandable/enjoyable to we women. Bobby follows me around the store after he has gotten the XXX that he needed, heaving sighs every now and then to remind me that we only came to get XXX, and he is long since ready to go home again, so he can use XXX that he came there for. It is just one of those tragedies that we ladies have to live with..... knowing that the poor men in our lives have no concept of what fun they are missing by not understanding how shopping is actually done.......
I need something to amplify the volume of my cell phone ringer so I can hear it ring all over the house. I've missed dozens of phone calls with this latest smartphone, because it is too big to conveniently carry around with you. This one is $72, you have to set your phone to vibrate, and the phone has to ring 3 times. I'd never remember to unset the vibrate. Seems like it shouldn't be so hard or so expensive. Cell Phone Ringer-Flasher with Built-in USB Port (It has a jack for an optional bed shaker. ) Any suggestions?
What works for me is my Apple Watch , because it automatically connects with my iPhone and shakes on my wrist when I have a phone call. then , I can either answer it with the watch or the phone. I have seen other smart watches on Amazon that work with other brands of cell phones, and maybe you could find one that works with your cell phone, and that way it would be right on your wrist, and you would not miss any more phone calls. Here is an example, but there are a lot of choices on Amazon.
My wife just bought a 2nd. Zenchef air fryer. She wants to be able to air fry other stuff when air frying something that takes up all the space in the fry bucket.
@Yvonne Smith I agree with that, smart watches can be very helpful, i invested in a Samsung, works great for me, because my hearing is getting worse, the vibration on the watch is great, not missing as much any more. My normal hearing isn't good, my selective hearing is worse..
Kohl's is having a 30% off sale so I ordered a pair of Eastland sandals. I got shipping notification today that the shoes are coming direct from the Eastland Shoe Corporation in Freeport ME. I wish they were still manufactured there.
I just ordered from a super market that will deliver to my apartment the following. Toilet Paper, Bottled Water, Apple Juice, Tillamook Cheese, BRIE, Cabernet Sauvignon Wine, Pinot Noir Wine, Zinfandel Wine.
