I've thought of getting a Dutch oven but have no place to put it...not that I would even use it that often. However, I did just get a 20% off coupon from Bed/Bath/Beyonce that's burning a metaphorical hole in my pocket.
There are some things I'm interested in buying online, but I'll wait until January when all this holiday stuff is over with. With shortages, I'm wondering if some things you are interested in are even in stock and your order could go on back-order.
My Avacraft saucepan came today versus Monday as first told. I have not had any real issues with delayed shipping from Amazon. Then again I do not order as much as some of you
I ordered this from Amazon Dec. 14. They said it would be delivered Dec. 27 - Dec. 30. It was delivered yesterday, Dec. 17. I am immensely pleased with it so far.
I discovered that the intake air filter assembly on my air compressor is trashed. The daggone parts are no longer generally available, but the parts sites still show the legacy references. Using that, I was able to find one on EBay. It's magic.
In keeping with my current retail trend, I ordered another piece of Le Creuset today. Just what everyone needs... a rice pot. (Yes, I realize I'm absurd but then again, I don't care. ) I also ordered an olive wood rice paddle (spoon) to go with it. Life is good. I am now prepared for rice; bring it on.
Where do you store this stuff...your attached garage? The only thing stopping me from being you is the [small] size of my kitchen.
You may recall my recent posts about rearranging my kitchen cabinets. Still hasn't happened but I haven't given up hope. Oh--and I do have a kitchen overflow cabinet in the garage. (It's overflowing, too.)
Beth, I thought you might find this interesting I had a 3 piece set of these French casserole bowls, small medium and large. I purchase them in the 70s when I worked in a department store. About 5 years ago I needed money so I sold them for $50. We use them a couple of times but mostly they we're on display. One bowl now sells for $375.00 on the internet.
OK, I didn't purchase this but I had to share, from the "What Will They Think of Next" Department... a HEATED portable chair. https://smile.amazon.com/POP-Portab...ct_DLandingS_D_971be074_60&smid=A6XVUKTIG2TMF
