Hal, your W10 should tell you what the problem is. IOW, if you need additional software/drivers to run something. I no longer have any photos on CD's, but since photo CD's are really a thing of the past, not sure if W10 will show a photo CD. All of my photos are on USB's/Flash Drives now.
There’s gotta be something amiss in the settings if it isn’t a driver. Normally, even if you’re on your home page and you slip a DVD or CD or whatever disc into the player, an icon or page will show up. To make it quick, ask Cordova or whatever the Window’s gal’s name is to bring up the DVD player settings or just go to settings and find the player and see if it isn’t disabled.
@Hal Pollner, first you need to know where Cortana 'lives' or located. Watch Youtube video then follow along with host on second viewing.
These "drivers"...do they attach to the back of the computer or are they installed inside the case? Thanks, Hal
HEY...I have an appointment tomorrow with my Geek Squad...we'll see what the "boys in the back room" can do! Howl
If the drivers are not installed on the device drivers are usually on a disk/CD which may or may not be included with your device or they can be downloaded from the internet or purchased. It's always good to seek help from professionals too.
