    Ah ... got'cha , and I see your point ... about the crashes.

    In the late 60's I worked for a local Pontiac dealer. Someone traded in a 1962 nascar Catalina, but it was a three-duce 421 as oppsed to a two-4 barrel , some said it was more NHRA intended ?? 4 speed,etc. I bought it at employee price [Yip-Pee] I re-did the engine [rod knocking] and it became my hot-rod. In the parts department I found a set of aluminum front fenders , a hood, and rear bumper. The parts manager sold them to me at a very attractive price.

    Sure wish I had that car today !!!

    Do you remember the Chrysler rolling kit stock car in the early 70s, there were several packages available from frame to a complete car.

    Well I'll be dog-gone .... that got past me ....never saw one. I do wish Chrysler would put that effort/enthusiasm into the sport now.
