Google Earth Image Captures a Frightening Creature Lurking in the Waters of Antarctica Just found out it's a hoax, I thought it might be but because it was on a reputable new site I figured I'd take a chance and post it. View attachment 60987 This was on a internet news site. Does Google earth take photos of boaters?
That seems like way too good of a resolution for Google's satellites,or at least for the photos they post on the internet. edit to add: The internet says that this is a hoax: 1-The monster is an exact replica of a fictional cartoon from a popular kid’s show, SpongeBob SquarePants. 2-When you enter the coordinates (63°00'29.0"S 60°44’08.0”W) for the apparent Google Earth video in the real Google Earth, there is no street view or photos to see. 3-Those coordinates are for an island called "Deception."
The first thought that most certainly runs through your mind upon seeing this photo, is wondering if this is in fact a real animal. And the answer is yes. Not only is this a real bird known as the harpy eagle, but it also happens to be the largest eagle in the entire world with a wingspan of over 7 feet! That terrifying look is warning you to be careful and stay away.
It almost looks Photoshopped. Of all the crossword puzzles and word games that I have done. I've never encountered "gerenuk."
We get gypped living in North America. There are so many exotic critters, birds and plants out there.
America is still beautiful in some places. But I do agree about other exotic places, watching a couple sail around the world and they film some really beautiful places. Jungles, swamps, sealife.
