Well, I guess that since we are all "confessing" what we first thought when you said you were from Delaware, @Elaine Pickering , I should also contribute my little bit. The first vision that came into my mind when I read the word Delaware, was deep forests, and lots of Indians, from the book by James Fenimore Cooper, "Last of the Mohicans". I remember reading that book, and also the sequal, "The Pathfinder"; but it was SO many years ago when I was still in high school. I am also looking forward to stories and pictures of living in Delaware.
Hi @Elaine Pickering, welcome aboard. I'm sure you'll settle in nicely here, and have a great time. I was just saying to a friend the other night that I've never been to Delaware. Maybe someday i'll make it there. I'm originally from Massachusetts, but am now one of several in Texas, although we're scattered about the state, particularly in the Southeastern part, it seems. Have a great day, and I'll see you around the forum.
@Elaine Pickering Elaine, we reside in a very "touristy" area, and always enjoy noticing out of state license plates, and note the time of year they are seen. Rarely see East Coast plates here in summer, along the Northeasterners, in winter, in order of "sightings", NY, NJ, PA, TN, but never DE! (If that's the correct abbreviation!) Frank
