No; it actually didn't even hit her. Here's the description from Youtube... "This happened about a week ago in Galway when the weather was terrible. This weather reporter is now really famous because of people making songs about her and putting them up on youtube. They also made this video of her getting hit by the stop sign.. By the way she didn't actually get hit by it."
https://twitter.com/i/status/1040678572262916096 This is a great one where the TV reporter looks like he can hardly keep his footing in the wind, while a couple of passersby stroll by talking on their phones. BUSTED!!!
That's the same video Beth posted 2 comments before yours. It's a Small World After All, It's a Small World After All, It's a Small World After All, It's a Small, Small, World.
Why is it that the person being filmed and reporting on an event is somehow more important than the person(s) behind the cameras? With the exception of knowing how to speak in complete sentences, the “journalist” doesn’t have half the responsibility than those behind the scenes making sure whatever the event is, is taped and broadcast. Everything the reporter has to go through, the camera person goes through also but the big bucks and notoriety go to the person holding the mike.
Dark would not be a problem so much for us here although a fire like that would destroy places where we live here. I assume I would evacuate to live by family etc somewhere else or maybe the farm. Vermont had severe flooding not long ago but daughter's house is set high in the hill. We would have had room for her and hers in an emergency. We would survive dark as they did before electricity.
Good point but then…where are the DEI police for ugly people who can read a script and don’t mind getting wet?
