    Hello,
thanks, things okay. Miss my Mother...she passed this is my first Mother's Day without her. Before she went, I got engaged, but he passed away too. Now I'm an almost widow and orphan. Family worries, but I will find a nice retirement community to live in. I'm okay, just a little sad. Guess my wedding gown will be donated in time, maybe after I go.:p

Oh, @Krissttina Isobe , that is so SAD ! I knew that your mother had died, and the last you had told us here was that you were going to be getting married, which was such wonderful news.
Are you moving from the home where you and your mother were living into a retirement community now ?
Probably, that would be a good place for you to make some new friends, and hopefully be close to shopping and transportation when you do need to go somewhere.
Sending you a big HUG, and prayers for you in your sorrow, for comfort and for our Lord to help you find a home where you can live and enjoy life.

Please make our forum part of your life again, and let us know how you are doing; we miss you here, Krissttina !

Thank you so much. It's been a very difficult few years. My fiance passed away a year before Mother actually. I will be remaining his fiance, love never ends. This Mother's Day, is the first year without my Mother...go g out photos to reminisce. It's said time heals all, but it's not true, sadness will never leave. I'm okay, though, sad. I've pictures to keep me company now.

Thank you very much. I'm still just looking and wondering about waiting lists too. I plan to just continue being a fiance for love is unending. So being alone, thought a retirement community is best and safest. Thanks so much, God bless.

How close are you to where the volcano is erupting, @Krissttina Isobe ? You haven’t said anything about that being a concern for you, so I am hoping that means you are safe from all of that disaster.
If there is waiting lists for the type of apartment that you want, maybe you should apply right away, even though you still are fine in the home where you have been living.

Hi, Krissttina, I am glad to see you on the forum! So sorry to hear that sadness and loss has overtaken you on the road of life. I always got the impression that you and your Mom were such great pals & companions...looking out for each other. I know that you will always treasure your memories of times together!

Love, nipped in the bud is no less lasting that that of a long relationship. May the short but sweet time you had together with your fiance sustain you as you move on. Keep on being a cheerful light to those around you. Good Luck!

Thank you so much. Mother and I were great pals. Next month will be a year since she passed. I wear a ring for my fiance, God rest and keep them both. Thanks again.

Thank you so much! I live on a different island from the erruption. Oahu is home, erruption on the Big Island. I found out that St. Francis health care Kupuna Village, in a year or so is going

I live on Oahu and the erruption is on the Big Island. I found out that St. Francis Kupuna Village will build independent living to assisted living homes in the area I'd like to live at, so I'm relieved & put my informal reservation via Facebook. Thanks pal!

I am so glad (and relieved) to know that you are safe, and on a totally different island than the one where the volcano is causing all of the devastation.
Are you getting a lot of air pollution and ash fallout from the eruptions ?
When Mt. St. Helens erupted back in 1980(?), it sent ash all the way across the state of Washington, and into Idaho and Montana. I haven’t heard any reports about whether that kind of thing is happening in Hawaii or not.
It is also good to hear that you have found out about a place where you can move to when you need to have assisted living. I always enjoy reading your posts, @Krissttina Isobe !
