For the month of June, Carl Foster, the son of obituary editor James Foster, will be editing the column while his father visits Europe. (You'll see the humor when you read it aloud.) Hal
I know why you're not responding to this "play on words"! It's because to you, it reads like any other ordinary item in the news paper. But read it ALOUD, and people near you will accuse you of using profanity! Get it? Hal
Well I read it aloud and no-one could find any profanity in how I was saying it..lol... perhaps it needs a certain dialect or accent to make it sound funny...
I read real slow so I had to say it out loud real fast. Even then, I had to look for the naughty words. @Holly Saunders , try saying it with a southern accent. "The sonofabitch-uary" , etc.
