I have been in conversation with a someone on another forum who thinks the Fed should subsidize housing to make it "affordable. Attracting illegals does two things that invites Big Government in: (1) They out-compete Americans for housing. (2) They drive down wages so as to make housing even more expensive relative to income. And predictably [by design], there are people who are screaming that more government is the answer.
