I didn't think he was trying to close the border; just changing how to apply for legal entry.

Yeah, he is really trying to make it harder to apply for sanctuary.

How's this for irony? Hunter is on trial for purchasing a gun while addicted to cocaine, and his father Joe Biden opens the southern border over which illegal drugs enter the U.S.

Overland Smuggling Into the United States. Most foreign-produced illicit drugs available in the United States are smuggled into the country overland across the borders with Mexico and, to a much lesser extent, Canada (see Table 1).

Is that before or after he loads them onto planes and flies them here?

Biden's 64 executive orders on day one to throw open the border! He should be shot for treason.

    Pretty much so.

Using Gallup's website to produce it, I have uploaded a a graph showing a comparison of the approval ratings between Carter and Biden.

The solid green line is Biden, and the short blue dashes is Carter. Overall I'd have to say Carter had a better approval rating than Biden has so far.

Not surprising. I actually admire Jimmy Carter; I believe he is a good man and had the country's best interests at heart. He was just an ineffective president.

Yes he was ineffective. But in his defense, to some degree he was elected at a somewhat troubled time in America.

And as a follow up, Carter is basically a decent human being or tries to be a decent human being.

Joe Biden, like most of the current day Democrat party, is just evil...or at least has evil intent for the country.

I used to think the same thing, but he unconstitutionally Federalized education forever. There is no justification for that.

Well, he didn't create the Department of Education alone; it had to pass congress. Apparently Reagan promised to dismantle the department but was unsuccessful.

Yeh, Reagan just tried to right-size it (the thing bloated real quickly) and couldn't even do that.

As a side from the prevailing conversation, isn’t it odd that:

The man that should be the President has been going to court on charges that were beyond the statute of limitations (and found guilty by “his peers”) whereas,
The man who IS the President has committed several felonies but can’t stand trial because of his diminishing cognitive abilities.

The overarching fact of what it takes to be a good president is to first have a successful career before entering politics like a Trump, Carter and Reagan. Career politicians who aspire to politics from the very beginning can give us a Biden.
