"Bullwinkle" is really cute. I love the ultra-closeup. Great photos, Ken.

I'm not sure why my first couple of sets of photos are gone. Maybe, I was hosting them somewhere else then, in 2015. When I get a chance, I'll see if I can dig them up and repost them.

I went north today to check on the camp and show a logger around to see what kind of an offer he will make on cutting some trees. I want to cut a few clearings in the woods anyhow because that's where the stuff grows that the wildlife eats and because the trees are a bit too thick. If he doesn't offer anything substantial, I'd rather thin the woods out myself. If he cuts them, he'll want to take the larger ones, which would be fine because it would leave space for the smaller ones to grow into larger ones, but I'll be dead before they do that. Plus, I think we'll get a better price on the land if we don't remove the best trees from it. I'm chapped from all the walking around, though, probably because I couldn't walk naturally with snow boots and alternating snow that could hold my weight and snow that couldn't. Anyhow, I hurt, but I'll probably heal eventually.

That's where I've been, though. It's 160 miles each way, not counting the walking and getting stuck in the snow.
