If I won a million dollars I think I wouldn't change my life style very much other than not have to budget everything any more.. Get another car that is larger than my Pumpkin (Chevrolet Sonic).. Perhaps go and meet our grandchildren we have never seen as they live in New Zealand.. Other than that, I really don't know what else I would change.. Definitely NOT sell our house and move as we love it here.. I was just wondering if I can ask for the same question again as I can see interesting answers.. Same Question .........
The first thing I would have to do is put a big fence around my house and hire security guards. Then I would have to have body guards for me and all the people I love. So I think the money would make me a prisoner. Therefore I'll pass on the million dollars. All I need is enough to get by on. When was the last time you did something just for fun?
Today....... I took my dearest wife out for coffee, just for fun.. The fun and enjoyment we have when we go out together.. Imagine how simple it is just to go out for coffee and enjoy yourself... Do you eat a fish meal at least twice a week ??????
Depending on what you mean by baked goods ,I buy bread, ..cake ( sometimes) We eat mainly fresh cooked meats and vegetables cooked / baked at home Do you eat something green most days
Yes, for sure.. I try not to eat something green that has been in the fridge for too long.. I will eat my green veggies every day, however.. Do you do your grocery shopping once a week or more often ??????
Kate.. That's not a silly question at all.. Personally we live in the country and we have an "A" Frame house and it is rather countryish.. What I mean is we have wood (knotty Pine) on our walls from about half way down and off white walls from there up including the ceiling.. Some call it "wainscoting".. All of our doors are wood and most are folding louvered doors except the bathrooms.. Our kitchen cupboards are oak.. We have NO wallpaper at all and personally I hate wallpaper.. I know what you mean.. Some people go to extremes.. Wallpaper seems to be almost faded out and very few houses use it any more.. Painting bedrooms a different colour is ones personal choice and isn't done often.. Country houses are quite different to the City houses.. Dark colours?? Hmm... Not very often unless it is an older home.. For my question: Is that answer OK to you?? How about where you live?? Do you have dark walls with wallpaper all over ?????
Just the opposite .... white/off white paint, 95% .... a small half-wall with bright red.. and another with pastel blue. What style home do you have?
We have an "A" Frame house with 2 bedrooms up and a bathroom.. A very large kitchen, living room and full bathroom on the main floor.. NO basement, just crawl space.. We also have acreage.. good question and I will repeat it.. What style house do you live in ???
Think I may have mentioned this before ..but here go's My home is single story brick veneer ..meaning it's brick on the outside with a timber frame ,gyprock walls which are off while ..our bedroom, 4 th bedroom have a pastel blue feature wall ..White kitchen cupboards..blue bench tops What size fridge do you have?
I think it is the size of a small arena.. I am not sure but I know I had to trim some of the cupboards to get it in.. It is HUGE and quite expensive to fill up.. I have a separate freezer door with a light in the freezer.. It is white.. Do you have carpets in your house or wood floors ??????
Carpets in all 4 bedrooms ,lounge we never use ,all the rest almost white tiles, We have. 500 ltr fridge/ freezer as well as a upright freezer ..I freeze allot of fruit for our use What sort of heating do you use to keep warm in winter
We have a duel heating system.. Electric forced hot air as well as electric baseboard heating with a thermostat in every room.. We also have an electric fireplace which we use in winter for both atmosphere as well as some heat.. Our house ("A" Frame) DOESN'T have a chimney as we don't burn any fuel.. We are an "all electric house".. How about the same question.. What kind of heating system do you have in your dwelling ?????
@Steve North ,we use a wood burning slow combustion heater ,We don't get snow (,I've never seen snow) our lowest night temps can get down to freezing ,but that's only due to frost ..our day time temps are around the 10-12c To answer the vegetable growing question ..Yes I do ..I have just planted ,silver beet ,kale ,beans, onions, Do you or have you ever volunteered at a charity shop ?
