Yes, the first color TV that I owned was in 1975. A 19" that I won in a contest.

No. The bedroom has two uses. One of them is sleeping. The other is NOT watching TV.

I have mini-blinds in my bedroom but they let some light through. The neighbors have an area light and so do I so my bedroom is not so dark. I can make out objects but it's not bright enough to bother my sleep.

Not normally ..if I have to get up,early ,I keep waking up
