No I very rarely make deserts

( blimey Steve you must miss doing a lot of that stuff since your shoulder surgery)... We don't get many bugs in the UK in summer, not enough to justify a -50 degree winter..lol:D

Are you happy with the leader of your country and their policies?

Holly.. I haven't had the surgery yet.. I had a shot of cortisone in the shoulder on Dec. 1st and so far, it is much better, however the surgery is inevitable as I am bone on bone in my shoulder joint...

Some of those winter activities I still do while others I used to do..
I forgot to mention that we have car races on the ice of frozen lakes..
We also have pond hockey which is several hockey games going on at the same time on the frozen lakes..
Snowmobile races and drag races on the frozen lakes..
    Ice fishing tournaments..

As you can see, our little village is extremely busy in winter with loads of outsiders coming here to participate in all those events which means load$ of dollar$ for the businesses.. We are also the hub of the snowmobile trails which means wherever you are going along the trails, it leads you to or through Massey.. Again great for out village..

Now, for your question, YES, I am very very happy with our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau..

Bread; do you make your own in a bread machine, or do you buy it ???
We are not the biggest bread eaters so whenever we need some, we buy it at the supermarket..

I never make bread. Heck, I haven't even made a biscuit since I found out Pillsbury makes them. :D

@Steve North , my Canadian relatives don't like Trudeau.

Our days are getting longer. I am glad. Are you?

Yes, I'm glad the days are getting longer, however I still don't see the big difference.. About one minuet a day isn't anything to notice just yet..
We are still in the heart of winter with the worst part yet to come, or should I say the best part as February and march are generally snow months with lots of cold as well..
Remember I live much farther north than you which means the days are shorter to begin with.. The further north you go, the shorter the day is..

Are you all finished putting away the Christmas decorations .... We did not have that many out this year and everything is gone by now...

NO... I have not tasted fish pie, but I do make a sort of a pie with tuna.. something like a tuna casserole with loads of veggies in a pie shell and baked with a sprinkle of cheese on top..

Do you follow recopies or do you just try to cook at random..
I like to try cooking something new that I have an idea for.. Just try it and hope it works..

I follow recipes for the most part. If it's something that I have cooked many times and it calls for a teaspoon of a dry ingredient, I will just dump what looks like a teaspoon of it In my hand and add it.

If you were a guest at someone's house and ate something that you didn't like, would you eat the rest of it? I would eat another bit of it and leave the rest.

It would depend.. If it was anything with pumpkin, I wouldn't even start as I just don't like pumpkin, although my car is like a pumpkin and I love the colour..
If it had cucumbers in it, I would just push the cukes to the side and not eat them as I have trouble digesting cukes..
If it had coconut, I would nibble at it as again, coconut isn't my favourite thing but I will eat it if it isn't overly heavy..
Other than that, unless overly spicy, I will go for almost anything..

Now, a similar question.. What if you were at someone's house for supper and you just didn't like the main dish they made.. Tried it and just can't eat it.. ........ What would you do.??? .. Remember, it is the main dish of the meal...

I have never encountered this, but I think I would be honest enough to mention that I just can't seem to get myself to get this dish down.. How about some ketchup?? That might do the trick....

haha Steve,.. gosh , I would think you would ask what's for dinner when invited first.., if it something you can't eat or dislike, I would certainly tell them..
but to answer your question,.. I would ask if there are any left over in their fridge that you might like instead.,.LOL

How many times a week do you eat potatoes do you think..? We only eat about 3 -4 times a week.. served in different ways of course..

We don't eat potatoes at all... We are on low carb and potatoes are one of the 5 foods we just don't eat..

How often do you go to the hairdresser for a haircut.??
I cut my own hair and I have been doing that for the past 35 years at least.. I shave my head with the machine at 1/4 inch in summer and 3/8 inch in winter...
