We don't have black flies. We have mosquitoes but, honestly, I only saw one all last summer. I think my martins and barn swallows eat them. I think that's fair enough; I provide living quarters for them and they rid me of skeeters.

Do you watch movies on TV?

I'm not a big fan of films, I don't have the patience to watch them, but I like all the old musicals from the 50's and 60's..

Would you..or have you, ever flown in a hot air Balloon?

No I haven't even considered going in a hot air Balloon ,I have been close by and watched them take off ,they are huge

What is the highest building you have been to the top of ,for me it would be the Q1 building in surfers paradise hubby did the outside walk on the open part of the building ....I went up to the 77th floor by lift ,as did hubby he then went with a guide on the outside Steel frame area ...you wouldn't get me out there for all the tea in China

No, I have never been in a cave that I can remember..
I was on top of the Empire State Building and I walked around the open part.. The promenade..
I was up in a hot air balloon but it didn't go far as it was at a fair and it was only for the public to experience the thrill.. Up and down in about 15 minutes..

Have you ever ridden on an elephant ??
At the fair, they had elephant rides and I took one just for the thrill of riding an elephant..

I'm going to answer Loooweeze's question first...I have been in many caves... there's lots of caves in Spain, and many cave houses and I've been in lots. My favourite though are the cave bars. There's one dug into the side of the mountain in our village just a few minutes walk from mi Casa..

No I've never ridden an elephant...

Do you eat processed meats much?....I love bacon and eat it probably once a week, Ham the same ...and sausages maybe twice a month...how about you?

ohh I know what that is,, lol . its called Spam here. I do dice it to use in a macaroni salad and its good, I do know its not that good for you but I do like the taste, LOL . I don't use a lot , I dice it very small pieces.. ,,,and I also add sliced apples to that salad too,,, its all really good!!
I never made a meat pie with it, , I only use it for that specific salad that I make.. and use it for nothing else..

    my question..
If you saw a person in front of you in line at a grocery store checking out and she could not scrape up enough money to buy her bread or milk or what ever else she had left .. would you go out of your way to pay for those items she could not pay for??

We have spam as well Louise ,that's more like a ham in a can ..this stuff is very soft if it's not refrigerated ,we had it on sandwiches with tomato sauce as kids ...it's horrible ...(well I think so )
You can spread the stuff like a paste

Yes I helped out someone but that was years ago and it was only for a small amount.. I had noticed that she had bought very good items and NO junk food.. she had a little one with her in the shopping cart and was short of a bit.. I told the cashier I would pay the difference and to go ahead and check her out.. She turned to me and with a funny look thanked me.. I think she thought I was after her or something until I told her that I cared and she was welcome and "that's OK"...

When you hear that there is a storm coming, do you prepare by stocking up on food in case you are stranded at home for days ???
We don't because I have enough food in the freezer to feed a small army for a week.. In the event of a power failure, I have my BBQ to cook on..
