I cook at home every night ,and even if we are going to Adelaide for the day ,shopping or staying a day or two I take my own food ..I don't trust the way allot of foods are prepared now days after suffering a really bad bout of
salmonella poisoning from eating out ,that was quite some time ago.

How often do you change your bath towels ,I do it weekly in summer because they dry quickly after a shower , twice weekly in winter to keep them smelling / feeling fresh
I also hang them outside to dry after use in winter

I change them once a week....or more often if needed for any reason... I change the bed lined once a week too... My dream would be to have someone come in and change my sheet every single day, I love clean sheets..

My husband will be watching the F1 Australian grand Prix this afternoon...I quite like watching some of it if it's a good race...but I couldn't watch it all the time like he does...so I go and do something else most of the time..

Is there a TV programme that you or your partner watches that makes the other leave the room and go do something else.. ?

I went out for a while ,while hubs watched the Melbourne GP Holly :D

Do you ever watch shows like David Attenborough ,I like them the filming always amazes me how they can show every tiny spot / stripe on a insect no bigger than a tiny ant ...His voice annoys my Hubs so I don't get to watch it
as much as I'd like to ...is there any shows on TV you'd like to watch but your other half can't stand it ,so you don't see it ?

I do like to watch David attenborough shows as well Kate....hubs likes them too

No I have to admit if I want to watch something on TV and hubs hates it...he has no problem going off to do something else..he would never moan if there was something I wanted to watch that he hated because he'd always find something else to do ...he rarely watches much tv anyway!!

We have a better relationship with Annmarie's son David.. He is the youngest and somehow he understands us better.. He is the Vice president of the Transportation union and is going for President in the next elections in a few months.. He is 41 years old.. He is the only one of all our children that doesn't have a university degree and is doing the best of any of them both financially and security wise..

Do you come from a large or small family..
I have one sister and that's all......

At our doctors practice the waiting list for an appointment is approx 4 weeks unless it's an emergency. Do you have to wait a long time to see your GP?

Usually we can get an appointment within 2 to 3 days unless it is an emergency which would be the same day if asked early enough in the day..
In the case of a test (cat scan, MRI, X-Rays) in the hospital, usually the following day or at the worst, within the same week.. We don't pay for any of these visits, tests, procedures, operations, hospital stays, or items needed after surgery such as slings, braces, or casts etc.. We are also paid to travel out of town to see a specialist or for any other medical reason.. Approx. $250.00 for us to go to see our specialist in Sault Ste. Marie which is 200kms away..

Very good question and I will repeat it.....

Where we live we don't generally put any plants in the ground till the first week-end in June as the risk of frost is still there.. Seeds are OK for a week or so before that..
We mostly go for vegetables that are fast growers as by the first week-end in September the risk of frost is back..
My wife is into flowers but she has developed several gardens with mostly perennials that come back every year on their own..

Do you find with this "climate change" that the weather is getting weirder every year ??
We are having up here milder winters but with more snow which is different..

Yes the weather is becoming more odd every year ...we're getting much hotter summers, and the last year or so beginning to see insects that are usually only seen in much hotter climates..like Mozzies etc..

Where you live do you have light pollution at night or can you see thousands of stars in the sky with the naked eye.. ?

Where we live which is in the real country, there are no lights other than what is in our house..
There isn't any pollution of any kind either.. At night there are stars in the sky that one can only imagine..
When we have a night campfire (which is quite often) in the summer, it is a real spectacle to keep on looking up.. We very often see some lights that are moving and I wonder if that is a satellite or perhaps the ISS going by.. Shooting stars are rare but we have seen some......
Now you know why we live where we do.. We enjoy breathing air that hasn't been breathed before..

As far as the sky goes, do you know how to identify different stars and planets by their name by just looking up with the naked eye ???
I couldn't tell the difference except I know the BIG DIPPER and that's all.. Even the NORTH star doesn't really indicate the north where we are..

Yes I can tell a few different stars, simply because my husband taught me....and the North Star is very evident here BTW.. :)

What was your favourite store which no longer exists? I used to like woolworth like everybody else and then before it all closed down in the uk it became just a store that sold the same as pound stores et al... but I do miss stores like Dolcis for good quality fashion shoes...
