    Answering Shirley's last question.

Because we tend to believe others criticisms more than their praise.

What was the worst day in your first five years of marriage?

No, not really as I like to keep my charitable donations for local causes .........

Where I live it could get cold during the winter months with a ton and a half of snow..
Other places could suffer from hurricanes, high heat, forest fires, or something else..

Are you concerned to where you live under any of those circumstances ???

Personally, I love the different climates we have up here and the winter doesn't bother me one bit..

Nope. Where I live is one of the safest places to live.
Do you talk to your dog or cat? When I talk to Miki, she looks at me like she knows exactly what I'm talking about.

I talk to my dog all the time.. I swear she understands what I am telling her.. I have a Pomeranian that is all of 6 pounds and is 5 years old.. Never ever barks unless there is a reason and then I accept that and investigate..
That is her in my Avatar..

Do you drive a standard shift car or do you drive a car with automatic transmission..
I learned on a standard many years ago but today I wouldn't think of anything but an automatic..

Yes... many times... Actually when I was a younger teenager, we had a country house outside of where we lived in Quebec City and I used to go horseback riding all the time till I was asked if I wanted to earn a few $$$ by being a guide to groups that went for a ride.. Naturally I accepted and I guided several times.. I was taught how to saddle a horse properly.. I knew the trails and the area very well.. I did this for 3 summers..

Do you have a pet and what is it and what do you call it ??
We have a 6 pound Pomeranian and we call her Sheeba...

I have Miki. She is a long haired Chihuahua. She weighs four pounds. She will be one year old October 15. Her birthday is ten days after mine but I won't tell how many years difference there is. :D

Do you decorate for fall? I put a fall arrangement on my kitchen table. I keep a seasonal dish towel hanging on my oven door and I have changed that to one with pumpkins.

Absolutely we decorate for fall.. I bring out the shovels, snow tires, winter clothing and get ready for the white stuff..
Our fall season up here lasts about 4 to 6 hours... We go from seasonal temperatures to below seasonal in one day and we stay down there till April.. Snow from mid November till early April is the average..

Halloween... Do you expect many kids coming for the traditional "Trick or Treat"..??
Do you give them candy or whatever ??
Where we live, we NEVER get anyone come around for Halloween..

I have never ridden on a train. It's on my bucket list. Almost all of our trips are by car.

Do you ever think about the danger of being in crowds in view of all the bombings and shootings? Would that keep you from going to events?

Not in the least.. If we were to go to an event, we wouldn't even think about the dangers associated with the possibility of a shooting..
Please remember where we live.. In a small village of just under 1000 people..
This time of the year it is very common to see hunters walking our streets with their rifles in their arms.. They are in a case and they are not loaded, I hope, but still it is a different sight to see..
They can't leave them in the truck as they are scared of theft.. someone might break into the truck and steal the firearms..
They are all dressed up in hunting orange jackets and hats..

Have you ever gone hunting?? If so, for what kind of animal??
Would you go hunting if you had the chance ??
I have gone hunting several times and I loved it, however lately with my physical condition changing, my hunting days are over..

Nope I have never gone hunting... I have several guns but they're for practice and target shooting only... I could never kill an animal myself, although my o/h used to shoot game a lot in the woods behind our house..

if you had to leave your country...and could no longer live there but could choose another country to live in for the rest of your life, and not be allowed to leave ...where would you choose ?
