Now if you was to book a flight to Australia ,what would be the first city you would visit ....one that’s a little slower pace ...or the biggest city in Australia being .....

Sydney .. New South Wales ....5.000.000
    Melbourne .......Victoria ..... .4,700.000
    Brisbane....... .Queensland .. 2,500.000
    Perth ...........Western Aust .......2,200.000
    Adelaide .........South Aust .........1,400.000

Or just come visit little ole me in SA .:D:D:)..and give the huge cities a big miss ...

Most likely I would visit the entire country from the large cities along the coast, to the north, that is a bit on the hot side like Darwin..
Brisbane is where my sister-in-law lives.. she is my wife's sister.. I might skip that city as the relationship with her isn't the greatest..
I would definitely make visiting our dear Kate the top priority.. NO WAY will she get away without having me....
How can one not see the Great Barrier Reef as well..
The island of Tasmania is also on my list..

From there I would go to New Zealand to see my wife's country.. She comes from Dunedin.. She still has many relatives and close friends there as well as many Grandkids..

    Now for my question..............................................................................................
I know we all eat some fish at one time or another.. Perhaps not enough, as it is very healthy to have fish a few times a week..
When you do eat fish, what kind do you usually have ?????
    Fresh, canned, or frozen ????
When I was fishing, I would catch Musky, Pike, Walleye, and Rainbow Trout.. Freeze them for further use later..
Now that my fishing days are over, I buy mostly frozen fillets of Haddock, Tilapia, Cod, or Salmon..

I would definitely love to visit anywhere in Australia that's hot, with beautiful views, and no killer spiders......and not crime ridden huge cities.... but my first stop would definitely be to visit my friend @Kate Ellery ... :D

In answer to Steve's question... we eat a lot of fish in this house, my husband doesn't eat meat of any kind, only fish.... so mostly we have wild salmon ( his is usually covered in spicy peppers of some kind...he also eat Mackerel ...( I don't like Mackerel), and his favourite Sea Bass.. ... I love Smoked undyed haddock... salmon, Tuna... and all shell fish except Oysters (hubs loves Oysters ) I used to eat a lot of swordfish at one time 'till I learned it was high in mercury...

Our fish tends to be smoked, or frozen...tuna , and mussels in a can.... but if we're eating out and have tuna it will always be fresh and served rare

What is your very first memory?

Too early to do much yet. I have my cards, I bought them after Christmas last year for a lot less. I turned the TV on for a while today and was surprised to see Christmas ads already.

    Do you exercise regularly?

Yes I go to physiotherapy twice a week for my shoulder as well as I do the exercises and stretching exercises at home almost every day......
I also use the stationary bike a few times a week to keep my hips in good shape...

    Eggplant....
Do you eat eggplant ??? it is a different type of vegetable that either you like it or you hate it...
I used to like it when I was younger, but my dear wife doesn't really know much about it.. I bought it once years ago and she wasn't crazy on it.. I haven't bought it since, however I will be trying it again shortly.....

I have eaten eggplant but I can't say I really like it. The last time I tried it, I made eggplant parmesan. It was edible but not something I would cook again. I think that, like collards, it's an acquired taste.

    Have you ever eaten collards?

Not that I’m aware of unless we have eaten it in a hotel lunch ,salad bar

Do you eat much in the way of uncooked green vegetables ,in summer like cabbage ,lettuce ,baby spinach
When I have greens I like a big pile on my plate..including red cabbage ..with just a little meat

You would not have eaten raw collards.

I eat lettuce and spinach in salads. If I buy the salad mix, I eat whatever they have in them. I eat cabbage in slaw but mostly, I prefer my veggies cooked.

@Kate Ellery , we are going into late fall/winter here. Are you having spring?

But now the children are taught The 1st of ( Sept ,Dec, March ,June ) is the change of seasons ...
so what were you led to believe is the correct dates ....I still go by the 21st of the month ..
We yell at the. TV when they say this is the first day of say spring ....we say NO .NO it’s NOT ....

    Kate...
We use the 21st of the month as the time the seasons change..
Don't ask me why, but that is the way it is...

Your eggplant recipe sounds good but somewhat labour intensive..
The best thing I can do with eggplant is just leave it there in the shop....

As far as eating my veggies raw, other than a salad or some coleslaw, I cook everything..
I'm not a rabbit to eat raw veggies..

Do you have a land line telephone in your house as well as a cell phone???
I have ONLY a landline in the house and we DON'T have a cell phone.. The reason is, the phone in the house only rings about 2 or 3 times a week.. We don't get very many calls and we don't make very many calls to warrant getting a cell phone.. Besides, a cell phone is much more expensive than what we pay per month..
Should I need some assistance in the car, I have "On Star" in the car which is like a phone and for emergencies..
