@Ike Willis I was thinking, how we share Ike's Super Power: Invisibility. Eventually, all Seniors become invisible!
I agree with Chrissy, living in a storage shed is not a good idea ! I think that you should look for another place to live before you sell your house, even just a little trailer or apartment that you can rent by the month. Then you can start moving the extra things out of your house and into a storage shed in Dayton, and the things you need everyday can be moved to the apartment, and just leave in the house whatever funiture you need to stage the house for the sale. Then, once it sells, you do not have all of that pressure to get everything moved and find a place to live while you buy property and get situated in the new home. Usually you only get about a month to move after the sale, and sometimes not even that; so if you can have most of the things already out, it will save you a lot of stress and worry. All you will have to do is move the staging furniture, and everything else will be in the apartment or storage shed until you are ready to move into the new home.
I can probably still do most of the things, only difference now is they cause pain. Worst case scenario, I'll end up in traction.
Except that now I have one day to pack, clean, get my oil changed and tires rotated and go to the store. And I'm still in jammies.
I already know I'll put off the oil change. I shouldn't though. This short trip is a pain in then butt and am only doing it because my sister is in town near my daughter. I leave thurs. And come home monday. Then I have to pack for my month long trip to Illinois and also for a few days again at my daughter's because I have to watch her boys while they go out of town, from there I'll go straight to Illinois. Bad timing!!!
Geez ! I'm worn out reading that - I need a lie down ! Pace yerself Chrissy - pace yerself .......... Seriously though, I just couldn't do all that travelling - so its a blessing you can Hope the journey is good, no delays and plain sailing Gonna miss ya though ..................
Well good news, I thought today was Wednesday so have 2 days, lol. Only thing that stresses me out is a missed connection and my time is short for my connections. Good thing is my son got me 1st class (business)ticket going so it will be pleasant stress. I'll be online, just not as much. Glad you'd miss me though.
Junk Drawer. Do y'all have at least one junk drawer? I have one in the kitchen, and two here in the office. I'll sometimes go through them and discard a lot of the contents, and then it never fails, I need something that I threw out/donated, and have to re-purchase the item.
