I did talk to him via email but I just wanted to be friends and he wanted more and I didn't so he got angry and left the forum. He was really looking for his soulmate and I wasn't going to be it. Really hope he found her because he was a nice guy...just not for me, especially being in PA.
I think that this is what @Chrissy Cross is referring to, and I am quoting from post #20 of the Editing thread. “You may have noticed that I have changed the time in which someone can edit or delete their posts back to fifteen minutes. I had raised it considerably for those of you who have been here a while, and have contributed several posts to the forum, but someone decided to delete dozens of his posts a week or two ago. There were replies to them, so the absence of his posts made the whole thread meaningless. I can retrieve deleted posts but I have to do it one at a time, and that has some problems in itself, as others had commented on the absence of posts that I had restored. Finally, I gave up and deleted the whole thread, then banned the member for a month. Usually when someone does something like that, they are planning on leaving anyhow but if he wants to come back, he's welcome.” While Bill Boggs is a wonderful and well-liked member of this forum, it seems like he goes through periods of posting, and then periods of deleting his posts, for no reason that is understood by the rest of us (as far as I know). He has posted before, asking Ken to delete whole threads that he has started in his “Drifter” online diary, which either makes it necessary to delete everyone elses’s Posts in that thread, or to go through and delete Bill’s posts one at a time, and then what is left is largely unintelligible conversation. Hopefully, Ken was able to get this message across to Bill, and I believe that he will be back to the forum after he has had time to work this out in his mind.
Also hope @Patsy Faye comes back and posts. I'll be honest and say that I had a falling out with her over a post I made awhile back. Hope she is okay.
ooooh I hope she's ok...and it wasn't something anyone/you said... maybe she's just taking a break , I hope so...
I have been concerned about @Patsy Faye as well; but she had said that she was having some medical issues, and might not be posting much. I did write to her this morning to see how she is doing, and I hope that she gets to feeling better and comes back to the forum, too. Sometimes, when we are sick , or in pain, things look worse than they should look; so hopefully whatever you said that upset Patsy will look better to her once she is feeling her cheery self again, @Chrissy Cross .
No ....do not think Patsy is staying away from here because of anyone. She has been having health issues for a while.
Last I heard from Patsy personally was 11-4. She did seem depressed. Has a hosptial appt.end of this month.this post has been corrected.
The last I talked to her was 10-19 and we talked every single day. She was upset with me over a post I made.
