Still no response from Al. He said something about traveling around the country once, as I think he didn't like sitting around the house after his wife passed, but I hadn't heard that he had actually done that. I still don't see him in the obits, so I am assuming he's alive. Michelle and I drove down to have lunch with him once, but we met at a restaurant. He seemed healthy enough.
Glad to see you. My brother keeps threatening to take me to your island. But my Spanish is terrible and no one will watch my animals. Bet your son keeps you busy.
Hal I can understand not being on the forum, with his memory issues at times. Am concerned about Al , would think he would send pictures off and on. There are several we have nor heard from lately. Faye I know has things going on at home, and taking a break from here- last I heard.
Both Marie and her husband seem to come and go on a regular basis. I always worry when they are gone for an extended period of time, but we have no way of contacting them, and it always seems to be that they were busy at home. Since they live in the country and have animals to take care of, plus gardening and fishing from their boat; I am hoping that their life is just too busy for the forum right now. Also, @Mary Stetler , I moved your thread because you posted it under the notices and announcements, which is for administration notices and not regular conversations, so that is why it did not show up when you posted the thread, it just went into the moderation queue .
Last I heard he was staying busy with his horses and the groups and events he rides in. Spring is a great time for recreational horse events. The summer heat can make such events hard on both the rider and horse. He will probably check in when the Texas heat hits unless it takes down the Texas grid. It seems @Bruce Andrew also has disappeared. No word from Frank and I see his name is untaggable. He hasn't appeared in the obit yet, so that is good.
Louis, wife and I like it when I don't change! Still complaining about certain things, but I think, in one way or another, all of us on SOF do that. LOL
I wonder what happened to @Maryt Hope. She posted a sweet good morning image every day, and her comments were always positive. Her profile said “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier."
