School Shooter's Mother On Trial For Involuntary Manslaughter

Individuals generally pick from the agenda choices that are presented to them, so they don't have as much invested. However, the people pressing the gun-banning agenda are genuinely pleased when they hear of another shooting that can put them in front of the microphones again.

 

This is an excellent point.
One of the issues that the anti-gun people have had for the last several mass shootings was that the shooter was either non-white, or was a militant trans activist, or both.
This, of course does not fit their agenda of promoting the trans people as warm and cuddly folks who just love little kids and want to entertain them with strip shows and stuff like that.
