Links to theOnion.com "...establishing a definite and potentially dangerous link between the practice of book learnin’ and increased back talk." The humorous article sounds a lot like the struggle some scientists and students seem to have with their peers especially when it comes to environmental issues. The problem can be prevented early though with proper parental intervention.
Huh ? What does this mean ? After reading a book you're likely to 'talk back' to your parents or partner ? I don't do links too often …..
Thanks for pointing that out Patsy Faye. Went ahead and added the explanation: "The humorous article sounds a lot like the struggle some scientists and students seem to have with their peers especially when it comes to environmental issues. All in fun Von Jones, leaving a lot to interpretation... having access to the behind-the-scene activities at the EPA helps me gain insight into their plight.
Even though the article is made in fun, I think there is some truth to it. The day a kid thinks they are smarter than their parents, is usually when they perform their first of a whole line of screw ups. I always tell my parents I didn't realize they were genius' until I was in my 30's. It sure could've saved me a lot of trouble had I listened to their advice in my late teens and twenties.
You want to know anything? Just ask a teenager, they have all the answers. My son and I have a laugh about this often today, but, boy oh boy, there was a time........
