Another group of scientists have experimented on dogs using an MRI And - this lot have decided that dogs 'do' have emotion and feel love towards their owners They disagree with one another - they state one thing then change the opinion as time goes on I say - go by your own judgement on things
I agree, @Patsy Faye, why not leave things to our own judgment and understanding. Why do scientist need to do studies that wouldn't feed us, so to speak. Now, what if those studies would be conclusive to say that dogs have emotions. What good will that knowledge do to mankind? Again, would that knowledge feed us? I have been reading so many studies on the medical field taken of volunteer groups numbering hundreds. I wonder how they get that many volunteers just to determine how the taste bud would react to new flavors. Oh well, maybe those scientists have nothing better to do.
Those of us who have had dogs, which is most of us, don't need scientists and MRI's to tell us that dogs feel emotions and love toward their owners. We see it in their actions everyday! I wonder what kind of tax payer money was wasted on that little experiment? Jeesh..Read a little James Herriot the next time you doubt it. I think the human and animal bond runs very deep.
