For those who want to go back to the 1950's, these appliances are new, and for sale here. Not cheap.

 

Anyone remember oilcloth tablecloths on kitchen tables?

Interesting towel racks. One like a restroom and others hanging on a pipe (?) at the ceiling.

 

I liked the drying rack too!

Our Elmira cookstove as used during the very desolate year following my lay-off from work, holed-up as we were on 40 acres of northern arizona on which we had built a 16 X 40 foot gambrel cabin, attempting self-sufficiency due to cruel fact: no jobs presented. We had a Nubian milk goat, 6 laying hens, plenty of firewood, no electricity, no water, no phone (not even cell!). Strangely, as far from Tucson as it was, we received Tucson TV stations on a 12" B/W set operating off our car battery.
