Bonnie, thanks for the point system clarification. I'm impressed that you attend a football clinic! That makes you qualified to be our official "question answerer"! I'll bet Cody, Joe, Ike, and Sheldon would be good too (guys, you know ;)). @John lewis ,I would say you too but I don't know if you live in UK where football is not their priority :).

Yes, you can change your mind as much as you'd like before the kick-off! Anyone else want to post their prediction? Ina is the only one that believes in the Broncos so far and I KNOW there are others who think the Broncos will win! So far, that makes it:

    Ina predicts Broncos will win………....28-21
    Bonnie
    predicts Panthers will win…..27-17
    Lara
    predicts Panthers will win……...24-20
    Sheldon
    predicts Panthers will win…31-17
    Chrissy
    predicts Panthers will win….24-20

Welcome to @John lewis ,I had a problem with your video loading properly. If I click on the play arrow it just takes me to another page which is an advertisement. Maybe, if you aren't in the U.S. then it doesn't work here? o_O

My money is on the Panthers, by 10 points. I don't follow sports anymore, so it's just a guess.:D

@John lewis , I had the same response as Lara when I tried the link you provided. Anyway, hello and welcome to the forum. As you can see we are having an online party, so I hope you can stay and join in on the fun with us.

Thanks to @Lara Moss , and @Bonnie Thomas , for the explanations. They do make sense to me, which is a feat in itself. I do have one question Bonnie. What is a Two-Point Conversion? What kind of action is it?

It seems I have chosen the under dogs, so I best put on my running shoes.

    :D:D:D @ running shoes!

Ike, should I enter your prediction as 10-0 for the Panthers? Or do it like this:

    Ina predicts Broncos will win………....28-21
    Bonnie
    predicts Panthers will win…..27-17
    Lara
    predicts Panthers will win……...24-20
    Sheldon
    predicts Panthers will win…31-17
    Chrissy
    predicts Panthers will win….24-20
    Ike
predicts Panthers will win by 10 points

Just drag it to your desktop. Then go to Avatar under your profile and submit it.

I love your running shoes Ina! ;)
...the two point conversion: the team has the choice of going for one or two points after they make a touchdown.
The one point is kicking it, or they can try to run it into the end zone, that's 2 points if they make it.
Kicking is more of a guarantee, but they miss those too on occasion.

Bonnie, good explanation of a two-point conversion.
Your Football 101 Clinic has payed off because you retained it well and are now helping all of us. Thank you :)

The News just said the Super Bowl Game Day is the 2nd largest day of food consumption each year. I'm guessing Thanksgiving is 1st. Most popular items are wings, hamburgers, and beer….I guess that's no surprise :p

Hey, Ina, don't plan on running from THIS guy in your high-heel "Running Shoes"!! :D

In the News: It's costing San Francisco 5 million to host Super Bowl 50…after just losing 10 million hosting the America's Yacht Race in 2013. This Special Operations Officer has stood watch over the 10 acre Super Bowl Village of Market St. for a month now. It's not like the good old days is it. A Big Super Bowl "Thank You" to those who protect our country.

There is much controversy going on in SF over many issues relating to Super Bowl 50. Some are thrilled to get the attention. Others are looking at priorities. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/05/us/super-bowl-50-further-divides-san-francisco.html?_r=0

None of that story surprises me at all. Every year, every city that gets the Super Bowl has issues when the game comes to town.. 1) hide the homeless . 2) clean up bad areas, etc. Every Chamber of Commerce wants their city to be seen to the world as shiny and bright and everything is just wonderful ...

Something on Inside Edition (TV show) last week... they had people checking out hotels/motels in the area around the Super Bowl. Motel rooms in less than desirable areas, where they normally get maybe $50-80 a room/nightly are asking $650+ a night this week. That always happens for these games ... what also happens is that the rooms are many times dirty, have unclean bedding, bugs, drugs, name it .... They act surprised.
Just because you put a high price on a flea trap, doesn't make it anything but a flea trap. :p

Inside Edition warned Houston .... we're coming to your city next year.. clean up! (They won't) :D

Yes @Lara Moss , you and @Bonnie Thomas , are making the game fun for the rest of us. I've told Lara that she should have been a party planner before.

I've already learned more about football than I've ever known. Now with all the new video and audio stuff, and all of you, I think I will actually enjoy the game, even though I'll be watching it by myself.

The guys are being awfully quit right about now, do you think they think we're a bit nuts, or am I just being paranoid?
