The only exciting thing that is happening right now is they have begun the work on my roof. I probably won't do anything until the weekend to celebrate. I kind of wish I could redeem and received a cash out from Swagbucks instantly .
Happy Birthday Von! How does it feel to be 39? I just turned 39 this past year too? I hope you are having fun today!!
Thanks so much for the info. I joined a couple of weeks ago and I've been so confused by the whole thing. $2,000.00 a year is a lot! Good for you.
I, too, received the 50 points for celebrating my birthday. While it was a nice little "gift", I'm not sure that 50 cents is ample compensation for turning a year older!! I wonder if I could pay 50 cents to be a year younger??

If anybody has a smartphone, there is a "SwagBucks tv" app that you can get. It has videos that you get points for playing - you don't have to actually watch them, you can just put your phone in a corner and it'll automatically go through a playlist of the videos! This is a good way to earn some points, although it isn't that many, if you do it every day it'll add up. You could even lea
Hmm, based on the posts in this thread, swagbucks needs much attention that I don't have. Perhaps I can try it but I don't promise to be on my toes particularly with that goal that I have to accomplish. Honestly, I am looking for ways to earn via my phone because my phone is my usual companion when I am in a waiting time mode like when I am riding a bus or in a car pool. But I have quit the carpool and am now driving my car to work so there's not much slack time for me.
A lot of people seem to like swagbucks, but I agree with you. It's...Well. It seems more of an irritation than anything. And doubly so because the surveys set you up for spam. Hate it.
I am impressed with the OP. Maing 2000 dollars a year on Swagbucks is a great statistic. As for me I wasn't too impressed with Swagbucks. I had heard so much about it and decided to try it. But I should have known better, I have never enjoyed GPT type websites in the past. Mainly because some of the deal require you to pay for something and don't get me started on the surveys which I never seem to qualify for. So, to me its great to hear about someone who has had success with Swagbucks apparently it was a good fit for them but it wasn't for me.
I just started using Swagbucks about a week or two ago. It's possible to make some money. It's taken me awhile because I just usually watch videos, I don't like signing up for offers etc but Id say $25 a week is realistic. To get it through Paypal you need collect 2500 points you can also get other incentives. It's definitely one of the better sites, there are a lot of scams out there.
Getting the videos done on Swagbucks does take some attention. I run videos on my cell and watch them online also. I try to make the quote they give me every day which will give me extra points. Using Swagbucks to make purchases can get you a discount in the form of cashback thru Swagbucks.
I'm currently a member of Swagbucks and I'm thinking of closing my account. It isn't very fast to earn for my taste. I got money from Swagbucks, but very little. I like to choose my things to do and don't like too many e-mails about what to do. I will probably close my account at Swagbucks very soon. I can't even find the code for the extra swagpoints, so Swagbucks just doesn't agree with me. I'm very unsatisfied with swagbucks. I like surveyspot.com better.
I have used Swagbucks in the past and you certainly can make money through it but I find it so incredibly boring. I don't really enjoy surveys and that is where the money is. I'm a forum kind of girl, it's what I enjoy, and whilst I occasionally look at sites like Swagbucks I don't stay long. The UK has it's own site but the opportunities are not as great as they are in the US although they set the goals at the same rate. This is supposed to be changing although I don't know if it will happen any time soon.
That's the main problem with Swagbucks and other money-making sites involving surveys: most opportunities are for people based in the United States. Even then, It's slow making enough money due to the time that may take to complete a survey and the low payment associated to it. I remember to have heard of someone who completed a 30 minutes survey to make a few cents.
