Lowes has started something like that. I just got an email me saying they really want my opinion of that rope. What am I gonna say? It's friggin' rope. I think it's because I've started just having them email my receipt.
@John Brunner really? They want to know if you are satisfied with 'the rope.' If there was something wrong with it you would definitely be ready to give them a negative response.
Screenshot of the email: The funny thing is I was joking with my neighbors because I bought so darned much of this. I used 6 rolls on that firewood storage, and wasted maybe another 4 rolls on "do overs." And I had yet another 4 rolls that I took back for credit...plus a big roll of another rope I bought "just in case" when I depleted their stock of this one.
I'll pass that on to them. Maybe the 2 of us can cobble together a review. I was gonna give it 3 Stars because "she got loose."
It isn’t the best tatting material I have ever bought. Or.... Dunno, it was stolen. The last time I saw it was when it was attached to my saddle and the saddle was on my horse ergo I think my horse stole my rope.
Yesterday was good for us. Our 3rd son drove up from PA to visit for a while. He also went to a wake for one of his BFF who had just died from ALS. So Chris drove 7 hours to see us went to the wake at 5pm then went back 700 mile to PA. He move to Pa for m our town Dec 34, 2018 and we've seen him one other time since then.
Tomorrow will be getting our boat ready for "summerization" at the marine service. Will grease wheel bearings on trailer, take off full cover and, attach 2021 Registration decal to starboard and port side of boat and, if not too tired, install the two batteries back in.
I had a wonderful day today ! The weather was perfect, warm enough to lay out in the zero gravity recliner in the back yard and soak up some sunshine and vitamin D, but not too hot to be out there. I worked on setting up a compost pile area in the back corner of the yard, and that will do until we get one of those compost rollers. Then, I started working on the bamboo trellis that will be on the side of the house where the strawberry patch is going to be. I will grow something that climbs (beans, peas, cucumbers ?) up the trellis because that area gets good sunshine. Today was a “work a little, rest a little” kind of a day, and I just seem to wear out more on some days than I do on others. I am definitely ready for a good night’s sleep tonight, and back to the projects in the morning.
Well I got brave and walked around a little bit without my clumsy moon boot on …after 7 weeks of either having plaster or the moon boot on ,so I hope that means I’ll get a good report from the hospital when I go to see the orthopaedic doctor next week . I’m not game to over do it, I’ve only been taking the boot off for a hour a day so I’ve had it on 23 hours a day My leg gets rather itchy so it would be driving me crazy if it was a plaster ,at least I can take the boot off
I was in the mood to clean today, so I mopped the wood floors downstairs, did a load of laundry, then cleaned bathrooms. Now I'm pooped and my back hurts.
Although my day is almost over I started out as every Flea Market Sunday does, excited. Today as I was hunting for treasures I found myself holding conversations with several of the vendors. They were all very interesting too. It was also a day of 'I'll know it when I see it.' and bought a Micheal Kors bag and a marcasite bracelet for a total of $20.These are two things that I don't intentionally look for that is designer bags and jewelry but they caught my eye and I heard 'Buy me, buy me.' So I bought them.
Wow, you scored! I love the style of that satchel and MK leather is very sturdy. Love the bracelet, too. I have some older marcasite pieces that I haven't worn in a while. Enjoy your new treasures, Von and thanks for sharing the pictures.
