Good morning to one and all. A rainy day yesterday though we didn't get much rain. We stayed in, my wife did laundry while I did some cooking. It's supposed to rain this morning to but nothing so far. Y'all play nice.
Good morning everyone! A nice day here in Fresno with a high of 84. Seems we are starting our cool down with temps in the 80's and upper 70's instead of the 90's and 100's just a couple weeks ago. Im loving it!
Well, it's morning, somewhere, so Good morning! Hope everyone has had a restful day, and are able to get a good night's sleep!
Good night from me now...going to watch a movie! See you all tomorrow! Monday, my favorite day of the week!
Good morning all you seniors out there in senior land. It's Monday morning, it's 39 degrees here in river city under clear skies, and it will be 1:57am when the gong sounds. GONG!
Yeah, I don't know why I woke up so early. I went to bed about 10pm. Shoulda slept until 3am at least.
Gotta see my doc this afternoon. Just a routine thing. So, Saturday in the mail was a 3 page form from doc that I have to fill out and bring with me. I just got done filling out a mega page form for my apartment building manager. What's with all this paper work? We used to be able to see a doc or rent an apartment with a minimum of fuss. Only had to write a check.
I know what you're saying. Doctors used to make house calls too. Paperwork can eat us up. It has me too. It's stressful in itself. But it does save time in the doctor's office to have it finished before you get there. And having all that detailed info helps them be more thorough. They have so many clients that it takes records to keep us all straight and "personalized". Back in the day the country doctors knew everything about everybody because there weren't so many. I haven't lived in an apartment since my early 20's. I never remember filling out paperwork back then.
Good morning Ike, and Lara, and the rest of the gang! Lara, paperwork is the first thing we forget, when it is done. Ike, you made me think of an old children's rhyme: Rich man, poor man, Beggar man, thief, Doctor, Lawyer, Indian Chief.
I have a DVD of the movie "Song of the South" I remember seeing it when I was a youngster. I thought it was the greatest movie ever. My wife has a dr. appointment later this morning. I don't know what we'll do later.
Good morning everyone! I got up at 4:00 am but that is normal for me. Beautiful day here weatherwise with a high Of 83 and sunny. Besides calling soc sec today and paying the few bills that arent debited from my acct. and going out to the store for a few things I have nothing else on my agenda. I HATE paperwork, but Im sure some is in my future with medicare. Hope everyone has a great day!
Good Morning, everyone (not here, but somewhere). I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We had some wild weather here. I haven't looked at the other side of the house, but not sure I want to. Hopefully the wind didn't blow anything down. At least 3 houses were brought down throughout the weekend, as well as some mailboxes, but apparently the mailboxes were due to a neighbor dispute and alcohol. It's starting to cloud up again, but hopefully no rain for a few days. There was a lot of flooding, but thankfully not here in my 'hood. Have a great day, y'all! @Lara Moss I forgot I still had a few of the green tea bags I'd infused with my jasmine blossoms, I had one of those over the weekend. Jasmine is one of my favorite teas, which is why I had to try infusing it myself. The jasmine plant is blooming a little again. Hopefully the weather won't deter it, and I will be able to infuse some more tea bags .
So glad to get this storm update and that you are alive and well…and dry to boot. Yay! Very interesting about you growing your own jasmine and infusing the leaves (or is it the blossoms?) with your green tea bags.
