Good morning all. I up and putting things in order for my weekend guest. I got a call last night from my 25 y/o grandson saying he needed to come and bounce some ideas off of my brain. Then next week I have a 16 y/o coming to spend his spring break with me. This time next week I'll be tired, but it will be a good tired. Remember set your clocks forward tonight.
Good morning one and all. Not expecting a fun day. One of my wife's longtime friends is coming over today, wanting us to accompany her to visit several cemeteries, most of which are about a two hour drive one way. I'm expecting the lady who bought the truck to come and get it today. Plus the man I hired to cut some trees along the creek is supposed to be here Sunday. I told him we might not be here but he knows what we want done.
Good Morning and a blessed Saturday to everyone. It's our youngest grandson's birthday party today for us today. He is 5 now and got a "big boy" bike for his main present. It's always a nice day when you can spend some of it with Family.
Good Morning, Y'all! The sun was out yesterday, and it rose (visibly) again today. What a glorious site, and hopefully it will dry up some of this rain. The neighbor's ditch is almost full. I always get a little concerned when it gets that high. Happy Saturday, everyone. Hope it's a good day all around. @Holly Saunders I know you'll enjoy those 3 days off . @Sheldon Scott I enjoy cemeteries, they're usually peaceful places, and I especially love really old ones. I walk by one on my nature walks, and sometimes see deer loping through, probably why I find them peaceful.
@Kate Ellery , I went to DisneyLand on my 60th birthday. 65 is coming up next month, hope they don't take me there again.
@Chrissy Page , why not start dropping hints now concerning what you wish to do. Like maybe a nice calming cruise. How about a dude ranch where there might be some real dudes? Or even a 'lady's' retreat for a weekend. It's time to do something that grandma wants to do.
My birthday is next month, I'll probably just go to my daughters because 2 days before my birthday it's my oldest grandsons birthday.
So do I Diane in fact we spent this morning in a huge very old one on the city's outskirts, set in a forest with two churches and a famous chapel, which is always crowded as it's reputed to have healing powers. People come and hug the walls and there is often a queue for several hundred yards to get to it.
