Good morning everyone, it's a grey gloomy start to the day here in England but 17c (65f) promised later, going to get the AC in the car serviced today, don't need it for heat reasons, as we rarely do here, but it stops the car misting up in the winter months due to the high humidity. Good morning all, on this Tuesday morning. It's 45 degrees here on the east coast of Iowaland in good ol' notch city. We got major rain on the way according to the sky watchers. Supposed to start around 10am. That means I better get myself to the store earlier than usual. I let myself run out of eats again. Used to be, if I had bread and coffee I was fine. Sometimes that still gets me by, but today I crave something more substantial. Biscuits and sausage gravy. My all time favorite breakfast. Well, I survived my doc's visit yesterday. Nothing new going on there. I like this doc. He's a deer hunter and likes guns. We get along fine. I had a dentist when I was younger, who was a pheasant hunter and bass fisherman. He owned a couple of bird hunting dogs.Trouble is, when a dentist is working on you, all you can do is listen. So, it's 4:30am now. The store don't open until 7am. I wish it was open all night but, it's in a bad neighborhood. Probably not a good idea. Well, have a happy Tuesday y'all. Behave or be careful.

Uh oh. the day's starting off bad. The coffeemaker is not working. I think we have another one in the garage. I'll go look when it gets light outside. It's also raining a bit. I think I'll go cook up some breakfast in the meantime.
I found the old coffeemaker in the garage so all is well. I took the other coffeemaker to the shop and blew it out with the air compressor. We're out of white vinegar. As soon as I get some and run it through I think it will be fine.
Gooooood morning senior land. It's 52 degrees at 12:30am and raining here in beautiful downtown pearl city. We needed the rain. It's just been a slow, steady wet rain, as opposed to a hard, dry rain. Anyway, it's hump day once again. I got a few indoor chores to do and tomorrow, it's review day. I hope our manager didn't get too many complaints about me. So, got me mug of hot, strong instant coffee and had my 5 hours of sleep. Guess I'll haunt the 'net awhile, see if there's any liberals awake I can fight with. Behave or be careful folks.

(We will rename our place for the party) Here's the latest details on our Halloween Party: Where: Over at the Hi-Goodbye Coffee shop, in the Happy Talk Section. When & Times: Friday and Saturday, beginning 8AM Friday, and running all Day, and wind up Saturday evening, when the cows come home! Everyone in Seniors Only Club is invited to stop by and visit, when their time zone tells them to! All those who "come in costume" (Either posted picture or avatar, in costume) will be entered into the Costume Contest. The three Categories will be: Best Male Costume, Best Female Costume and Best Pet Costume. (A picture of you with your pet will qualify both) Be sure to mention your Pet's name. All pictures can be from your camera or from online. If you are unable to post pictures or change avatars, give a vivid description of who you are "dressed" as. If you use a costume avatar to enter, do not change it, until after the voting, folks can go back and check it out. Three voting poll threads will open (1 for each category) on Sunday, at 8AM EST and close on Tuesday, at 8am EST. You may only vote for one in each thread. Hopefully, every member will be able to see & vote in the polls. Remember that all voters in the polls will remain anonymous. There will also be a "Where's Jack-O" Mystery Halloween Picture! Good morning everyone, or rather afternoon as it is here, have had a mid morning doze for some reason, was up early though. The sun has just come out after a foggy start. Have a good day everyone....
I have always been a dozer though, as I toddler I would evidently fall asleep while holding my mother's hand at a bus stop I have often had an afternoon nap most of my life, always being self employed it was easy of course.
Do you know how many people can't fall asleep like that?? If you could bottle that you'd make a million! (that visual of you and your mother at the bus stop holding hands and you feeling completely at peace is so endearing)
