I'm just awake cause I woke up...haha..but I'll go back to sleep in a bit. I Hope everyone has the fortitude to seize the day in whatever way you need to do. I have my aunt's funeral later this morning and just dread it a little. She had a long, full life..but I'm just going to miss her so much.

It's kind of cool this morning..but I don't mind. I do actually love cooler weather. @Ruby Begonia aww you need more zzzz's. :). @Holly Saunders ..love love the mouse with it's feet up and that's what you need to do after a safe drive home from work :). hey @Terry Page ..it's good to sleep in..it recharges our idling brain cells. :)

Good morning everyone. I just ate sausage and egg and reloaded my coffee cup. Supposed to be storms coming about noon today and another round later in the evening. My knee and hip are still hurting. The knee has been getting worse and more painful. I think maybe the hip is hurting because the sore knee has ne walking differently.

Okay, my complaining is over for now. How are the rest of you good folks doing?

I woke up this morning in a beautiful "beach" room. My sister's new home which I have only seen in pictures until now is beautifully decorated in beachy themes and colors that make you feel you are at the beach even if there would be no water, etc. around for miles. She did it all herself and is so gifted in this area. I will try to share some pictures later to show you. Today another sister is coming to join us so four of us will be sharing this beautiful day at the "beach". :)
I am truly blessed in every way today and I hope each one of you will be too.

Got up 5:30, decided to walk a litter earlier today, so I got my IPhone, earbuds, radio station set and walked out the door. Got about 50 yards from the house and it started to pour. Should have stayed in bed.
    Good morning everyone.......:p

Good morning from the little city on Iowa's east bank. We have rain in the forecast. I could tell the minute I woke up. My bad knee was throbbing until I took some pain meds. They quieted down most of the aches from my other joints too, for awhile. Enough of that.
Today is grocery day. It's also the day I write checks to pay the bills. That's about all the activity I'm planning.
Hope you all have a great hump day.

photo (4).JPG ha ha, @Ruby Begonia That's how I feel. I was up way too early again today, but thankfully, not as early as the past few days.

@Sheldon Scott I've been meaning to ask how you were feeling. It does sound as if you're compensating. It might be good to use a cane for a bit until the issue subsides, so you don't end up further hurting yourself.

Oops, good morning, y'all. I haven't been downstairs yet, so no coffee, no food for me or the kitties or birds, although I did give the two up here (cats) a few treats each. It sounds as if a lot of us are/will be having the same weather. My arthritis in my pelvic area and back have been particularly bad. I'm so glad I ran to Walmart yesterday, now I can rest up until next week. I can't imagine how I'll feel when I'm older, although hopefully by then the finances will be a little better, and I can actually get some treatment. I'm not sure how that would happen, but my fingers are crossed for a lottery win ;).

I'm headed off to the game threads and a few others, then downstairs for coffee and breakfast. Have a great day, y'all!

Good morning! I woke up at 5:00 which is normal for me. Sunny and 70 today. Busy day for me after doing nothing yesterday after my drive.

Insurance guy coming at 9:30 am to sell me supplemental ins. To go with my medicare. I'm going with an HMO because that will be the cheapest. Bad enough Part B is $125. :(
    My drs office recommended him.

Later I have to go to the store too.

Enjoy whatever you are doing. Kind of a mixed bag of days on here. Some in pain, some working, some just relaxing, some at a funeral, some at the beach....ones with good days, hope they continue, ones with bad days, hope it's over soon.

Mine is just blah, wish it was tomorrow already. :)

It Is all dark, dreary, and drizzly here, I am lucky enough not to get spring allergies, but I do get barometric headaches. They will start a day or two before the bad weather gets here, but as soon as it arrives, the headache goes away.

I couldn't go to sleep last night, no matter what I did, then I guess around 4:00am I slip into a lite sleep. So I'm all groggy this morning.

@Chrissy Page , I know your birthday is next month, so I'm assuming your supplimental insurance is available for you now. Is your SS starting at 65? I turn 65 in December, but I'm told I have to wait until I'm 66. Why I don't know. I would be interested in what your insurance man has to say. I wonder if supplimental insurance is the same in all states.

@Holly Saunders , when do you get to retire, and are you going to be able to wait that long. I work through the a lot of pain for the last ten years that I worked, and something tells me it helped it aged me more than what was necessary.

@Ike Willis , you just got out of the hospital, so find those meds, and take them. You had us pretty worried there for awhile, so behave yourself, watch some TV, catch up on all the threads you missed.

I found this, and it reminded me of you.

@ina, I get widows benefits. I don't think I'll be getting my own SS because I never worked that much.

Medicare starts in Apr for me but I need a cheap supplemental. Going with an HMO. My dr takes it and it's associated with St Agnes Hospital which is near me and good one. Hope it's not too expensive.

@Diane Lane , I thought my arthritis was bad, as it sometimes puts me in my wheelchair, but I don't have it in the pelvis area. I don't even want to imagine how that must feel. How much longer do you have before you are eligible for SS and Medicare? If you need someone to help you get to and from places I would gladly help. Just let me know. We all need help sometime.

@Sheldon Scott , is it arthritis in your knee, or have you injured it? Does heat or cold packs help at all?

@Babs Hunt , I hope you ladies have a great time as you visit each other. I always wondered what it would be like to have a few sisters. I bet y'all got up to a few pranks in your youth. Do you have a funny one you could share with the rest of us.

@Karen McKenzie , I'm sorry about the loss of your aunt, but since it was a favorite aunt you must have many lovely memories, so after you have a good cry, pull your memories around you. They'll help comfort you.

Believe me Ina, I feel I'm ageing a year every day sometimes, working through the pain.:( I don't officially get to retire for another 6 years, but I'm seriously considering retiring this summer, it's just too much for me working up to 12 hours a day. I get to work from home a couple of days a week which helps but still, it's taking it's toll on me when I'm actually at the workhouse..

Got an appointment with the Pain clinic on Tuesday to see if they can come up with some solutions which might be of some benefit.
