Well it's afternoon here, but I like to see how everyone is doing before I poke my nose in. Ike why do you have such inspections? Is it part of your job?

I'd gladly give you some of my OCD if I could. I'm trying to emulate Chrissy. She sais she was partly OCD and partly lazy. That is one of my new goals.

I live in a HUD building. Each resident is reviewed and our apartments are inspected every year. For our review, we must submit our most recent bank statement, medical receipts, any insurance payments, tax records, any extra income records and one time only, our birth certificate, drivers license, and complete a 4-5 page form including next of kin phone numbers and address. Then our apartments are inspected and any problems are noted like, mine had a drippy faucet, and a sliding closet door off the track. Manager said she would make out a work order for the maintenance department.
The first manager I had was super picky. She made me wash the windows and arrange the closets so everything was neatly stowed away. The following ones were a little more lenient.

Good morning everyone, while waking up and before getting up I like to listen to a gentle video of some inspiring music or poetry, one of my favorite poets is Rumi, this is the one I woke up to this morning.

Greetings seniorland, it's Friday morning and the hour is 3am here in the little city beside the mighty Mississippi river. A comfortable 36 degrees under a clear sky and no winds. Just the opposite of yesterday. Supposed to hit near 60 degrees today.
I got no plans for today. Nowhere to go, nothin to do. I like it that way. I never know what might come up. Maybe I'll just haunt the 'net, see if I can stir up any liberals.
A long time ago, I belonged to a forum where it was easy to post under multiple user names. All you had to do was create one and open a new account. Sometimes, when things were slow, I would start fights with myself, switching user names back and forth. Soon other posters would jump in the fray and there would be some pretty heated exchanges going on.
One fellow and his son posted there. His son had a long user name. I created a new user name, using his son's user name minus one letter out of the middle. His dad, a die hard liberal, had poor reading/spelling skills so I knew it would slip by him. Then I made a few posts attacking his dad's politics. It worked like a charm. The dad thought his son was turning on him. When they figured out what was going on, they contacted the administrator who began investigating and discovered I had 25-30 user names.
I was kicked off the forum and things were changed so that it was much harder to have more than one user name.
Rest assured, I now only use three names. One here, one on another forum and my real name on TV/newspaper sites. Ahh, fun times.:D

Its a wet gloomy morning here but a dry sunny weekend is forecast. Just took a photo from my house on the hill overlooking Worcester city.

It's morning here but still dark. This must be when the shortest day of the year happens. The Rumi poem above was beautiful. Only someone who has experienced a true love in the deepest sense could have written that poem.

Wet, grey and drizzling here...what we call a dreich day in Scotland. I am, however, more than happy to be back in my own house after eleven weeks of enforced exile.

It has, one must concede, been a strange time. It was very pleasant to spend an hour lying in a hot bath this morning, having had access only to a cramped and rather weak shower for the past few weeks. There is still a lot of stuff to sort out, but it's coming along.

I tried not to get too uptight about the whole thing. After all, I had a roof over my head, washing and cooking facilities, a TV, internet access (well, sometimes) and all of those things we take for granted. That's a lot more than many people get in this unfair world of ours.

Good morning everyone. Another beautiful day here in Palm Bay, FL. Was seventy degrees here early this morning and my daily walk was perfect. I have a sunrise picture I took a few days ago. Sorry, said upload file to large. Anyway, it was a pretty picture.

Hi Chrissy. I took this with my IPad too. It's the second time it's happened to me. I'm going to try again.

@Dave Sun @Chrissy Page I usually cut them down sizewise if I've taken them with my camera, but the camera on my tablet takes a size I can use on here. I just use a jpeg resizer or use something like RealWorldPaint to scale them back a little for forums.

Good Morning, everyone! Tumultuous weather is headed our way. There was a tornado on the ground west of Houston earlier, hopefully everyone over that way is o.k. I'm glad I knocked my errands out earlier in the week, and don't have to go outside of the neighborhood this weekend. I might run to the corner store, but that's only about 6 blocks. The sky was red this morning, which always makes it a bit iffy weatherwise. I'm settling in for a relaxing weekend, hope everyone else is, too.
